General Hospital Spoilers: Elizabeth Testifies – Who’s She Forced To Throw Under The Bus?
General Hospital spoilers and updates tease Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) will have to testify in the trial of Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen). But who will she be forced to throw under the bus, in order to draw attention away from Willow as the shooter of Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison)?
Elizabeth Was Blindsided When The PCPD Found The Gun Used To Shoot Drew In Her House
Elizabeth was blindsided when the PCPD searched her house and found Edward Quartermaine’s (John Ingle) gun, which was determined to be the weapon, in Willow’s room.
After Willow didn’t go through with her first wedding to Drew, Elizabeth had taken her in and let her stay in in one of her now empty bedrooms.
She has plenty of room, since all her sons are gone; Cameron and Jake Webber (William Lipton, Hudson West) in college, Aiden Webber (Colin Cassidy) with Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson).
Willow claimed she didn’t have a clue how it got there, although both Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) had been at Elizabeth’s house that day. Carly had been ruled out as a suspect, but Willow immediately thought she’d been framed by Michael!
The Truth, The Whole Truth, And Nothing But The Truth, So Help Her God
Elizabeth is admonished to swear to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth, so help her God, but it doesn’t mean she has to like it! Elizabeth, like everyone else who was close to Drew before he changed, knows he’s nothing like the man who first came to Port Charles when everyone thought he was Jason Morgan (Steve Burton).
So whoever shot him in the back, deep down, Elizabeth can’t blame them-he’s nothing like the man who disappeared, and was presumed dead for so many years.
Elizabeth Is Not Happy With Alexis’ Line Of Questioning
Elizabeth is not happy with Alexis Davis’ (Nancy Lee Grahn) line of questioning on the stand-it seems like she’s targeting Michael, and she’s asking a lot of questions.
Alexis focuses in on the day Michael came by, after his mother had come by earlier-and she’s forced to admit he would have had a chance to hide the gun in Willow’s room. And why would he, unless he was the one who shot Drew, and wanted to frame Willow, thinking she’s unsafe to be around their children?
But even though Michael was there and had opportunity that day, so did his mother Carly-Elizabeth reminds Alexis that Carly was overheard threatening Drew.
And Elizabeth had to go upstairs to take a private phone call during the time she was there!
