General Hospital spoilers and updates tease that Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) will finally take the bull by the horns and try to unravel her past. She’ll reach out again to Dr. Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) to try and learn more about that partial memory from her past, can he help her solve the whole puzzle?
General Hospital Spoilers: What Happened?
Elizabeth came to a crossroads the night of Ava Cassadine’s (Maura West) attack, knowing that she had to remember what happened that night as well as in her past. The memory of her and a woman struggling at the top of a staircase is not making sense to her, and she realizes she’s obviously blocked something out. She didn’t remember who the woman was, or the argument, but she was telling her to stay away from her father, so perhaps she was a mistress.
She knows her father, Jeff Webber (most recently Richard Dean Anderson) had at least one affair with Naomi Dreyfus, (Gigi Bermingham) Hayden Barnes’ (Rebecca Budig) mother. But she doesn’t think the woman in her flashbacks was Naomi, but the woman knew her and called her by name.
GH Spoilers: She Knows Now What Triggered Her
Elizabeth has figured out now what must have triggered her; it is a combination of feeling still married to Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) and trying to move on and another incident. That incident would be when her now boyfriend, Dr. Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) threw Peter August (Wes Ramsey) down the staircase at GH and they thought he was dead.
The fact that a doctor and a trained nurse both thought Peter was dead but yet he obviously wasn’t still bothers her, but he’s definitely dead now. She is still not sure who the figure she either dreamed or hallucinated was who told her to remember him, after which the portrait Franco painted of her mysteriously appeared. In Kevin’s office Elizabeth opts to continue to undergo hypnotic regression to totally uncover the repressed memory that is coming up a little at a time.
General Hospital Spoilers: Scary Memories
Elizabeth has remembered another detail and she’s almost afraid to try to remember more. She now is afraid that she killed someone; not that she attacked Ava that night but now she fears she threw that woman down the stairs. That would make sense considering she now believes seeing Peter at the bottom of the stairs may have been part of what started triggering her repressed memory.
One thing she is afraid of is that there may be more memories than just that one that she’s repressed; who was the little girl calling out for mommy and daddy? Was it her at a much younger age, or did the woman who was after her father have a child and it was her voice Elizabeth remembered?
