General Hospital Spoilers: Drew Supports Carly In Her Time Of Need, The Truth About Nina And Dealing With Her Mom’s Death Too Much?

General Hospital spoilers and updates tease Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) will support Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) in her time of need.

Practically all on the same day, she finds out the truth about Nina Reeves Corinthos (Cynthia Watros) turning her and Drew in and that her mother Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zeman) died!

General Hospital Spoilers: The Day Started Out With Expecting A Good Year

Carly and Drew had spent New Year’s Eve in bed, and celebrated with champagne, him having returned from his business trip in Australia early.

She goes in the kitchen as he goes to start a fire in the fireplace, and he finds her in a state of shock-she’d gotten a call from overseas. Her mother had died in her sleep having been in Amsterdam trying to settle her late brother Luke Spencer’s (Anthony Geary) estate.

Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) had been helping her and had returned to report Luke’s estate was a huge mess. Carly had never expected not to see her mother again, and she’s feeling quite lost.

GH Spoilers: Showdown At The Savoy

While Carly is reeling from this news, her son Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) is in the midst of a showdown at the Savoy, as he’s confronted by Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).

Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) figured out Nina was the rat who turned Drew and Carly into the SEC, while Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) continued to be blamed.

Lois was ready to tell Sonny it was Nina as Michael, Ned and Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) arrived from the docks, where they were watching fireworks.

When this secret comes out, Carly is informed of that as she tells the person on the phone her mother died-that’s how Sonny finds out about Bobbie.

General Hospital Spoilers: It’s Too Much

Drew is ready to help Carly cope by informing friends who would want to know about Bobbie’s death and also wants to help in setting up the memorial.

Lucas Jones (Ryan Carnes) will take care of getting his mother to Port Charles for the memorial as Carly hangs around Kelly’s.

Kelly’s is where Carly feels closest to Bobbie and confronting Nina is back-burnered as Sonny goes to offer his help as well, and Carly flies into his arms for a hug.

Carly has a well-oiled machine of a support system surrounding her before the day ends, and more show up. This year may not be as good as she thought it would be earlier, and she’ll continue to look for answers that may not be there.
