General Hospital Spoilers: Drew Makes A Promise To Scout, He Won’t Be Gone Forever?
General Hospital spoilers and updates tease before Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) reports to Pentonville, he’ll make a promise to his daughter Scout Cain (Cosette Abinante). Drew promises he won’t be gone forever, and she’ll always know where he is because he’ll write to her.
General Hospital Spoilers: It Won’t Be Like The Last Time
Even though Scout barely remembers when Drew seemingly dropped off the face of the earth and his death was faked, Drew tells her this won’t be like then. She’ll know he’s alive, she’ll know where he is and he’ll be able to write her letters, although he’s not wild about his child knowing he’s behind bars. She can send him letters as well and as far as he knows, he can call as long as her mother accepts the charges.
Not a lot has been revealed to Drew but he can’t fathom he’ll be in solitary-but with that hardline judge, who knows. Judge Albert Kim (Kurt Yue) can pass sentence but he doubts he can assign which section he will be inside the prison-that’s the warden’s business.
GH Spoilers: Drew Cain Won’t Let Scout Cain Forget Him This Time
Drew won’t let Scout forget him this time like she did when he was held captive by Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy). But she was much younger then than she is now, and they have gotten reacquainted. There may be some confusing questions-like did Daddy do something bad, she is old enough to know why people go to jail. Unfortunately, there are many children with parents in jail, and Scout barely remembers when her mother was in prison for a period of time. Sometimes people do good things but go about them in bad ways, in Sam McCall’s case it was having to kill someone to save someone else’s life.
General Hospital Spoilers: Drew Cain Knows An Appeal Will Be Filed
Drew knows that his attorney, Zeke Robinson (Gavin Houston) will file an appeal although with only a few days, he’ll still have to report to Pentonville. Appeals take time and perhaps he could ask for a new trial, but as clogged up as the prison system and court system are it may not be worth it. Drew will concentrate on when he’ll be free again and in the meantime, try to maintain all his important relationships from in the inside.
The two or so years he was in Cassadine custody seemed like a lifetime, but the three years in Pentonville won’t be as bad. He’ll have contact with family and friends, and especially with Scout and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright).
