General Hospital spoilers leak Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) may be back on solid ground in the US, but rumor has it he’s far from stable.
Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) have both noticed some rather worrisome behavior coming from Drew, and neither of them hesitated to share their concerns with him. But his awareness of their upset — and even his own awareness of his change in personality — won’t make it simple for him to straighten out and reverse course back to being the “old Drew.”
While it seems like he and Sam have fleshed out the issue of Scout Cain’s (Cosette Abinante) school — for now — he and Carly are a different story.
She aired her concerns and he essentially defended his new behavior before leaving the room and the conversation behind. Carly will continue to worry that her man isn’t well, and he will continue to downplay the issue until it’s too late for them to turn back.
General Hospital Spoilers — Self-Awareness Counts for Nothing
Despite knowing that he’s not quite himself, Drew will continue to forge ahead on the path he’s been on for weeks. Carly’s concerns will fade to black as he attempts to squash their feelings in favor of his own.
He’s going to take to the power he feels with every snide remark or underhanded move he makes against his family. They won’t see it coming, and that’s going to give him an advantage — as well as an adrenaline boost. But that’s not the guy Carly fell in love with.
GH Spoilers Suggest Carly Has Other Offers on the Table
Carly is no spinster. If Drew can’t shape up and love her right, somebody else will. For a hot minute, we thought it may have been Mr. Brennan (Charles Mesure).
Could he be permanently out of the picture, or was his arrest just a bit too tidy? If he circles back around, we can almost guarantee he will want to see Carly again.
But he wasn’t the only man interested. Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) could quite possibly be single again soon. If that’s not enough, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) is coming home. Drew better get it together, or Carly may suggest he get goin’.
General Hospital Spoilers — Too Little Too Late
Drew’s attempts to paint things pretty and get Carly to understand where he’s coming from won’t serve him well. There won’t be a path forward for these two when he’s done transforming himself into a real Quartermaine.
The ruthlessness he begins to boast will have Carly questioning what happened to the man she gave her heart to. Can she get him back? Will she even want him when all is said and done? Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers to find out.
