General Hospital Spoilers: Did Sidwell Just Clue Us in That Faison is Actually Dead?

General Hospital: Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota),

General Hospital spoilers report the fan base has been flooding social media with posts over the last couple of months about Cesar Faison (Anders Hove).

Few GH villains are so popular postmortem that they garner this much attention years after their deaths.

Still, when Faison was alive, he rocked fans and Port Charles alike to their cores. Now, the fans are asking whether it’s possible that Faison lived.

While that voice on the loudspeaker beckoning upon a captive Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) this week sure sounded like Faison’s Dutch accent, some fans are arguing that Thursday’s episode dropped a hint that he is as dead as a doornail.

Faison’s Final Project

Thursday’s episode left some fans with their mouths ajar when Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo) approached his father, Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota), about Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) moving in at Wyndemere.

Sidwell bucked at first but eventually gave in, which is going to make for very interesting times on Spoon Island. But what some viewers noticed was Sidwell’s reason for initially saying no, echoing that they were far from upstanding and law-abiding citizens as they worked to carry out Faison’s final project. Yes, final.

That key word may be nothing, but it could mean this isn’t just some kind of continuance of Faison’s work and that he somehow survived Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) sharp shot and Peter August’s (Wes Ramsey) suffocation maneuver.

General Hospital: Nathan West (Ryan Paevey)

GH Spoilers Ask Who’s Carrying on the Legacy?

Still, if it’s not Faison behind that loudspeaker, who is tormenting Anna? Who was instrumental in bringing not one — but two — of Faison’s kids back from the grave? Are Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) and Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) the real deal, or are they doppelgangers or clones of some kind? As rumors circulate, more are taking flight that point to them being anything but the real Nathan and Britt, which leaves fans with a feeling of sadness they can’t explain while still loving the idea of Faison being back from the dead. Further, how does Sidwell tie into all of this? Why does he matter? Did he even know Faison, or has he co-opted his work for some reason?

Nothing is as It Seems

Rumor has it things are going to continue to heat up in the weeks ahead, with Britt and Nathan possibly clashing at some point, leaving many onlookers to question why they aren’t seeing eye to eye after all they’ve been through.

Britt hasn’t discussed her Huntington’s diagnosis with many, and as it starts to become a more relevant part of the conversation, she may have to work on explaining why she no longer has any symptoms.

Nathan’s disinterest in taking the reins as James West’s (Gary James Fuller) father right now came as a relief to his family, but that doesn’t mean they won’t start to wonder why.

With Britt taking over at the lab, and Pascal (Marc Forget) back in the picture, we’re sure to have answers about whether Faison is dead or alive soon. What do you think? Share your thoughts with us in the comments, and keep checking back for more GH news and spoilers.
