General Hospital spoilers suggest Sasha Gilmore Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) is out, but that doesn’t mean Blaze (Jacqueline Grace Lopez) is in. When Blaze met with Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) and Maxie Jones (Kristen Storms), it was clear to her that Lucy and Maxie couldn’t have been more divided.
Maxie’s frequent tendency to smooth over Lucy’s crass approach left Blaze feeling like the company was desperate for a facelift. She could take it as a compliment that they thought of her, but she also might be somewhat offended by the same sentiment.
Were they unable to rustle up anything else and thought a rising star without much claim to fame yet would be easier to rope in? Look at poor Sasha.
Is getting involved with Deception a practical death sentence? Blaze has a lot to mull over in making this decision, even though it seems as though she already has.
General Hospital Spoilers — Lucy Definitely Put the Cart Before the Horse
Maxie tried to warn Lucy that she was overeager and overzealous to sign Blaze as the new Face of Deception. They hadn’t even made Sasha aware of their plans yet but there they were, plotting to pull the rug out from under their already-fragile friend.
Maxie tried to be the good guy in this scenario, but Lucy didn’t exactly have to drag her kicking and screaming to the meeting with Blaze. So while Lucy might be putting the cart before the horse, Maxie was there riding sidesaddle to her.
GH Spoilers Hint Sasha is Moving On
Maxie may not have been all that shocked that Sasha wanted to call it quits on Port Chuck. She’s endured a lot of heartache in that city. At every turn, there is a reminder of all that she has lost.
A clean slate in a new city like Austin, Texas is just what Sasha says she needs. Moreover, it may only facilitate a change of hands at Deception, too. Will Sasha sever ties with the company as she heads south to chart the course on her new life?

With Sasha opting out of the picture on her own, it’ll pave the way for the new Face of Deception to take the mantle. There’s just one problem: there is no new Face of Deception.
Blaze isn’t interested in being the face to help Deception clean up its messy reputation. Lucy’s used car salesperson tactics won’t get her very far with a down-to-earth gal like Blaze.
