Shocking Pentonville Beating
General Hospital spoilers for Friday, September 25 confirm that Curtis and Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) got beaten up by a bunch of inmates during the end of the show.
While Curtis was warned to stay away from his cell after lunch, he still intervened after Sidwell was ambushed. This was a huge mistake to say the least!
With that said, did Sidwell know it was coming? Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) met with a thug that Friday and ordered him to get some inmates to send Sidwell a message.
Still, the villain seemed to know what was happening and had a confidence/cockiness to him. Did Sidwell find out about Sonny’s impending “message”? Could he have paid the inmate off to do some major damage to twist things around?
Why would Sidwell want to get beaten up? Well, it would guarantee a trip to the hospital, which would garner an opportunity to escape.
Plus, he could pin the entire mess on Sonny, and his nemesis would possibly land in jail. Unfortunately, Curtis got mixed up in everything, so what does the future hold for him?
He May Not Make It
General Hospital’s weekly preview for September 28 has an interesting clip. Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) is heard in the voiceover telling someone, “They’re not sure he’s going to make it.”
There was a leak on social media in August noting that Sidwell and Curtis would land in a Pentonville ambush storyline, and Curtis would be in the ICU. Now it looks like Curtis will fight for his life in the days ahead, leaving his loved ones more concerned than ever.
After all, it was brutal enough for him to get a 10-year prison sentence for assault. Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) and Trina Robinson ( Tabyana Ali) will be beside themselves with worry over whether Curtis will survive, and his safety in Pentonville, post-ambush.
