General Hospital Spoilers hint Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) is making his rounds in the wake of his disastrous wedding night with Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr). Curtis is determined to understand the people who are supposed to be on his side; he needs to reconcile with himself why they would have kept this secret from him. Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) could be his daughter and no one thought that was important enough to tell him before he walked down the aisle and married her lying mother. Now that he and Portia are hitched, Curtis is going to confront everyone who was involved in keeping this secret, and it won’t be pretty when he pays a visit to his aunt, Stella Henry (Vernee Watson).
General Hospital Spoilers — Jordan Tried
Contrary to what Curtis had originally believed, Jordan did want him to know the truth before he married Portia, but his new bride just couldn’t bring herself to be honest with him. While that broke Jordan’s heart, she still didn’t feel it was her place to blow up Curtis’ life or interfere in his relationship with Portia. The most she felt comfortable doing was cluing Stella into what was going on, given that his aunt already had suspicions of her own.
GH Spoilers Say That’s More Than Aunt Stella Did
When Stella learned that Trina might be Curtis’ daughter, she couldn’t believe Portia would put Curtis through this or marry him under such false pretenses. She truly believed she could keep this secret forever and that may be what destroyed Curtis the most — that she never intended to tell him. However, he’s just as hurt and betrayed that his loved ones didn’t try to warn him once they figured out what was going on. His own aunt opted out of officiating his wedding and allowed him to go through with it. She wasn’t able to stomach watching the two of them get married knowing what she knew, but she was able to stomach letting him get married without her present. It just doesn’t make any sense to Curtis.
General Hospital Spoilers — Curtis Can’t Hold It Against Her
Still, Curtis has a hard time holding Stella accountable any time she’s in the wrong. He just can’t seem to fault the woman who gave so much of herself and her own life to raise him and his brother. He wants to believe Stella had his best intentions at heart and was merely overwhelmed with the news she stumbled upon just days prior to his nuptials. She wouldn’t have come into that information had she not spoken to Jordan, and Curtis may end up lashing out at his ex-wife more than his aunt because of it. But first, he’ll have to really make peace with what he wants from the marriage he was just tricked into. Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers just ahead.
