General Hospital Spoilers: Curtis And Trina Connect, Finally Form A Family Bond?
General Hospital spoilers and updates tease that Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) will connect, and finally form a family bond. They’ll even take a selfie together with one of their phones.
General Hospital Spoilers: It Started In Greenland
Trina’s acceptance of Curtis started in Greenland, when he showed up to help rescue her, Spencer Cassadine, (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) and Ace Prince-Cassadine (Joey and Jay Clay). Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) brought back Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) came back with her, Curtis, Spencer, and Ace. Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Holly Sutton (Emma Samms) were also on board, Drew taking Liesl first so she could donate her bone marrow in a separate plane.
Trina really noticed that Curtis didn’t hate Spencer like the rest of her family does-in fact, they worked very well together to distract Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) and his goons. Trina was able to get back to the cabin until they noticed a satellite phone was missing-which she had.
GH Spoilers: Curtis Ashford Doesn’t Have Cassadine Prejudice
Curtis doesn’t have the Cassadine prejudice that assumes every Cassadine is like Victor, Curtis knows that Spencer was raised mainly by his grandma when he wasn’t in boarding school. That scores him many brownie points in Trina’s eyes, with her mother, Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) blaming all the ills of the world on Spencer.
Curtis was impressed with Spencer’s quick thinking and devotion to Trina while they were on board the Haunted Star in Greenland and in the compound. He recognizes true love when he sees it and he won’t interfere between Spencer and Trina or badmouth Spencer to her, and he would defend Spencer to Portia if need be. That would mean volumes to Trina, who frequently gets in disagreements with her mother over Spencer, not willing to give Spencer a chance because of her prejudices.
General Hospital Spoilers: It’s Curtis Ashford’s Birthday, Two Things To Celebrate
It’s Curtis’ birthday, and there are two things to celebrate – one, it’s his birthday, two, he’s just found out he’s a new father of a twenty-one year old girl! Curtis constantly reminds Portia that Trina is legal age and she cannot make her decisions for her, it only causes resentment, and especially romantic decisions. It’s even worse that Portia refuses to get to know Spencer for herself, she’s made up her mind he’s evil, and evil people don’t change.
Trina and Curtis form a connection and a bond over Curtis’ supporting Spencer and her relationship with him. It feels like her and Curtis against the world, but they definitely form a family bond with Curtis as her ally regarding Spencer.

[…] In recent years on General Hospital, Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) has formed an alliance with Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart), much to his mother’s dismay. When everyone thought Valentin was dead as he hid out in a local safehouse courtesy of Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) made a play for the ELQ shares Valentin left behind to his daughter, Charlotte Cassadine (AnaSofia Bianchi). Laura Collins (Genie Francis) wasn’t willing to part with them on her granddaughter’s behalf, and that gave Tracy some serious pause. […]
