John “Jagger” Cates’ (Adam Harrington) brother was nicknamed “Stone”-this was the boy with AIDS Robin Scorpio (Kimberly McCullough) fell for. Michael “Stone” Cates (Michael Sutton) was very close to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) as well.
Years ago, “Jagger” and Jason, then Jason Quartermaine, and Sonny all had ties to Karen Wexler (Cari Shayne).
She was also Scott Baldwin’s (Kin Shriner) daughter, and because Karen wound up working as a stripper in Sonny’s club, and Jagger loved her he’s got it in for Sonny. They later married but then divorced-Jagger, Karen, and Jason Quartermaine were stranded on an island together once.
GH Spoilers: The Mastermind Behind The Mob Boss Murders Cannot Be Stone Cates
The mastermind behind the mob boss murders cannot be Stone Cates, and Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) revealed O’Neill (Jeff Leaf) revealed the “boss” is supposed to be dead!
Now, usually Jason doesn’t miss his targets, but he missed Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and Sonny and Ava Jerome (Maura West) but those might have been warning messages.
Then Jagger returned suddenly to Port Charles after all those years and is investigating a gang who stole weapons from the WSB arsenal in Berlin and killing mob bosses.
Jagger keeps interfering with the investigation Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) were doing into who shot up the Metro Court Pool and hit Curtis-is Jagger hiding something?
Plus whoever breached the security on Sonny’s island knows the system-might “Stone” be Jason, short for “Stone Cold” and working with Jagger?
General Hospital Spoilers: Jason Morgan May Have Had Amnesia
After being crushed under a tunnel collapse under Cassadine Island, Jason may have had partial amnesia or it’s possible Helena Cassadine’s (Constance Towers) super soldier brainwashing took hold.
It wouldn’t be hard for Jagger to convince him that Sonny and all the mob bosses are an enemy faction and the mission is to take them all out.
Jason probably was in a similar situation to what Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) was after Ava knocked him off his feet with that gargoyle and on life support a while.
But if Jason does have any of his memories intact regarding Sonny and his island security, he may have spared them for that reason-even Ava. After all, it was Ava who sprung him from the Boronsky Clinic when he was patient six, he wouldn’t forget that and spare her!

So tired of the suppositions regarding who is targeting Sonny. Can't wait for the story line to be resolved so all can move on,
