General Hospital spoilers and rumors tease that Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) could be Katherine Bell’s (Mary Beth Evans) son – and Stefan Cassadine (Stephen Nichols) could be his father! Longtime GH fans will agree that Cody does look like a mashup between Katherine and Stefan!
General Hospital Spoilers – Cody Bell Would Be Around The Right Age
Cody would be about the right age for the late Katherine and Stefan to be his parents – Katherine could have never told Stefan and gave him to a relative to raise. Katherine was involved with Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) and Stefan, who was an older half-brother of Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) and a teenage Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma). She met her end when Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers) pushed her off a parapet of Wyndemere Castle to her death.
Helena had hated the woman aspiring to be a Quartermaine or a Cassadine as a gold digger; she was the daughter of a maid! Katherine was also a con woman and pulled off quite a few scams before her death!
GH Spoilers – Just What Port Charles Needs, Another Possible Cassadine?
It seems to be just what Port Charles needs – another possible Cassadine with a questionable paternity; or could he be a questionable Quartermaine with a questionable paternity? Either way, if Cody isn’t the straight up guy with a little mischief in him that he seems to be, he could be trouble! Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) seemed to have her eye on him in spite of his being Dante Falconeri’s (Dominic Zamprogna) childhood friend, and her being involved with Dante!
And then there’s the question of why Dante didn’t ever mention him – what kind of trouble did they get into together? The Quartermaines thought they would have trouble with Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) – might they have more trouble with the son of Katherine Bell?
General Hospital Spoilers – Cassadines, Quartermaines, The Faison Daughter In The Mix?
Cody might be a Cassadine or a Quartermaine, and if he’s a Cassadine he’ll be Sam’s cousin – but either way what will happen with the Faison daughter in the mix? Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) can’t decide whether she wants to take him to the District Attorney or the Justice of The Peace by the way she looks at him! The party crasher splasher is definitely attracted to her, he asked questions aplenty of Sam and Dante about Britt, he thinks she’s really something!
Sam told Cody Britt was “something”, all right, already hinting her disapproval and it’s not even revealed yet if he’s a Cassadine clan member! There could be a clue though and it might be a clue that he’s even more trouble grownup than as a kid!
GH Spoilers – Cody Bell Didn’t Want A Job At A Stable Even Though He’s Good With Horses
Sam told him of a job opening at some horse stables, and even though Cody said he was good with horses, he turned her down! Both the Cassadines and the Quartermaines have horse stables; maybe he’s afraid he’ll be recognized – after all, it’s been a good thirty years or so since Dante’s seen him. Who knows what Cody’s been up to since then, all he knows is that Cody apparently is a skydiver and Cody knows Dante is a cop! It’s possible that either Ned or Stefan could be his father, and there are Cassadines in Port Charles who might know if he’s Stefan’s-more likely Valentin or Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy)!

So could Cody be Stefan’s or Ned’s son? If he turns up to be Ned’s, Brooklyn could be his half sibling. That would bring Amanda Setton and Josh Kelly together as bro and sis again. They played bro and sis in OLTL.
I’m betting he’s Stefan’s son though. Looks like him.
