General Hospital spoilers and updates tease Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) will seek Sam McCall’s (Kelly Monaco) help. Will he put his cards on the table about what he knows about Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) and her stealing from Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson)?
General Hospital Spoilers: Cody Bell Needs Some Private Detective Work
Cody needs some private detective work to prove that Gladys framed him by putting that bracelet in his pocket at the Nurses’ Ball. The only problem is, there were no security cameras in the dressing room, and even if there had been Victor Cassadine’s (Charles Shaughnessy) henchmen would have disabled them. The ball was held in the Metro Court and Cassadine’s henchmen were working behind the scenes, kidnapping Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) who Victor needed for his population control scheme.
There has to be someone who noticed something, as Gladys didn’t belong in the men’s dressing room where all the Magic Wands left their clothing. Cody wants Sam to see if there’s any kind of proof she can get through her private detective skills that will exonerate him.
GH Spoilers: There’s More Than That
There’s more than that to the story, and Sam is willing to listen-Cody really stepped up for Sasha at the Home and Heart show. Cody tells him that Selina Wu (Lydia Look) has continually leaned on Gladys to pay off huge gambling debts incurred at her secret poker game at The Savoy. Cody works part time at that game himself, and has proof that Gladys was dipping into Sasha’s funds and had confronted her with it before the bracelet went missing. Sam can see the cause and effect of Gladys framing Cody so he couldn’t expose her own theft, and now that Sasha is planning to discontinue her guardianship, Gladys is scared. Gladys has been poking around Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) business trying to get information and Sam knows he’s suspicious as to why.
General Hospital Spoilers: Cody Bell Needs A Lawyer, Scott Baldwin’s Gone
Cody obviously needs a lawyer, but Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) is gone – there’s suspicions that the WSB got him for trying to sue them. Scott was going to help Cody with the case but now he’s not available, and Cody’s trying to represent himself and Sam doesn’t advise it. Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) can’t help very much, with paying for a lawyer or anything because of conflict of interest.
But Sam is committing to help Cody by getting proof Gladys is stealing from Sasha, because if they have proof she’s sure his charges will be dropped. She’ll call Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) in to use his cyber-sleuthing skills even though he and Cody had a bad start, this is a whole different situation.
