General Hospital Spoilers: Chase’s Good Deed Leads To Family Drama For Dex

General Hospital spoilers tease that Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) will likely be a good mentor for rookie cop Dex Heller (Evan Hofer). During a recent chat, the two bonded over becoming cops and talk moved to family.

Chase couldn’t help but realize that he sounded just like his recently deceased father, Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison). That led Chase to tell Dex all about the love and support Gregory gave him his whole life. But then talk turned to Dex’s family.

General Hospital Spoilers – Dex Heller didn’t have a happy childhood.

Dex basically told Chase that joined the Army as soon as he could to get away from his family. He made it clear that he doesn’t have any contact with any members from his family.

He also talked about wanting to create a life for himself that was completely different from his while he was growing up. Viewers may remember that Dex has spoken to Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) about the abuse he took at the hands of his brothers.

His father was also a serial cheater and his mother allowed it while Dex was young. But Chase was once estranged from his own brother as well, and things worked out in the end.

GH Spoilers – Harrison Chase wants to help Dex Heller

Chase knows that Dex is having a hard time in the police academy. His fellow officers know that Dex once worked for mobster Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard) and they don’t trust him.

Chase let Dex know that he has to prove himself and eventually he will gain respect and acceptance of his co-workers. It’s possible that Chase would want to do something for Dex to make his situation a little easier but it could all turn out horribly wrong.

Dex didn’t tell Chase the extent of the abuse he suffered at the hands of his brothers. So Chase might believe that Dex’s situation is similar to his own past with Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton).

Chase and Finn ended up forming a strong brotherly bond and he may want that for Dex as well. But that may not be possible if Dex’s family is anywhere near as bad as the way he described them to Josslyn. Chase’s good deed could easily lead to disaster!
