General Hospital Spoilers: Chase Opens Up, Bonds with Lois, Will She Accept Him For Her Daughter?
General Hospital spoilers and updates tease Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) will open up to Brook Lynn Quartermaine’s (Amanda Setton) mom Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer). But will Mama Bear Lois approve and accept Chase as a suitable mate for her daughter?
General Hospital Spoilers: He Used Some Of Your Dad’s Eddie Maine Clothes?
First coming into the situation, Lois knows Chase is a cop but he tried his hand as a singer-and even used Eddie Maine’s (Wally Kurth) old clothes at a picnic.
This was before Chase got kicked off the force and was forced to sing for a living, and Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) still remembered both sides of himself.
Lois makes a point to get to know this cop that her daughter is now living with, unable to bear living with Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot).
Lois can’t stand Tracy herself and is livid over how she threw Brook Lynn under the bus and got her fired after using her as a corporate spy. But she’ll deal with Tracy later, for now she puts Chase through a wringer of maternal approval or not!
GH Spoilers: Harrison Chase Approaches From A Musical Standpoint
While Chase definitely loves being a cop more than being a singer, he relates to Lois from a musical standpoint, and tells her the undercover op busting Linc Brown (Dan Buran).
He figures that is a good place to start with Lois, also talking about Brook Lynn’s bravery saving his former singing partner Blaze (Jacqueline Grace Lopez).
But Lois isn’t checking him out to be a singing partner or someone for Brook Lynn to manage-she’s checking him out for husband material! While it hasn’t gotten to that point yet, Lois knows about all their ups and downs and breakups and reconciliations and she wants to know if he’s right for her girl!
General Hospital Spoilers: Lois Cerullo Impressed At His Care For Eddie Maine
One thing that stands out to Lois is Chase’s care for Eddie, since Ned still hasn’t remembered that part of him yet-or really, even his Eddie days accurately.
This is another reason Lois has come, to try to help him remember-but she’s impressed that Chase went out and found him and brought him back from busking in a park. The Eddie she knew and married was never a busker-he never put out a hat and played for tips!
But Lois knows if Chase cares enough to take care of Brook Lynn’s confused father, that he’s good enough to marry Brook Lynn-once they get to that point. She’s so good at leading the questions Chase doesn’t even know it’s an “audition for marriage” to Brook Lynn!
