General Hospital Spoilers: Charlotte’s Multiple Personalities – Recent Traumas Lead To Mental Health Disorder?
General Hospital (GH) spoilers hint at some stunning revelations that are about to pop up in the land of Port Charles. Fans were recently just as shocked as Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) to discover Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) was the perpetrator behind the ransacking of Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) hotel room.
General Hospital Spoilers – Charlotte Cassadine’s Behavioural Issues
Charlotte has always had some behavioral issues; however, this seems very dark. Especially in light of the message she left on Anna’s bathroom mirror.
Charlotte has had a very hard go as of late. Her mom Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) has been in a coma since late 2020, she was held hostage at her boarding school by her vile grandad Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy), she had to pretend her father was dead while he “hid” from Victor, and she’s spent little time with her beloved “Papa” in recent months now that her grandad officially passed.
While she loves Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna), and he’s opened his home to his stepdaughter so she can spend time with her brother, she clearly wants to be with her bio dad on a full-time basis.
GH Spoilers – Charlotte Cassadine’s Trauma
Charlotte has suffered a ton of trauma; not only recently, but throughout her entire life. She grew up believing that Claudette Beaulieu (Bree Williamson) was her mother, spent months as a young child not knowing if Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) or Griffin Munroe (Matt Cohen) was her bio dad, only to realize that Lulu was, in fact, her “real” mom and Valentin was her father, making the only mom she’s ever known, Claudette, just a surrogate. On top of all that, Claudette disappeared abruptly and was discovered dead.
Valentin (and Lulu, prior to her coma) were always at each other’s throats over custody when she was younger, and the only woman that her father dated that she truly connected with was Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), and the two broke up.
Valentin’s road to redemption was prompted by Charlotte’s misbehavior, but he’s been far too preoccupied with Anna, Pikeman, bringing his father down (at one point), and helping friends around him (i.e. his Greenland adventure and heading to Russia to help Laura Collins (Genie Francis) in her plight to find her son), to truly focus on Charlotte.
Has Charlotte developed a multiple personality disorder that Valentin hasn’t picked up on? Fans can see the minor disdain she has for Anna any time she utters her name. Still, not liking your father’s girlfriend and lashing out versus ransacking her hotel room with dire warnings are two very big things.
Then, there’s still the major question mark around Charlotte being behind Anna’s house fire. Still, Charlotte has remained polite, kind, and pretty easy-going to the adults around her, not to mention her friend Jake Spencer (Hudson West). So, is there a bigger issue at play with Charlotte?
GH spoilers tease that viewers should expect the unexpected, so fans need to make sure to tune into the ABC soap daily to see what happens next.
