General Hospital (GH) spoilers suggest that Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) will believe Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) is behind her SEC arrest. Of course, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) won’t even cross her mind, and her nemesis may stay in the shadows as she won’t want to lose Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) over her need for revenge. With that said, could Ned lose Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) over all this drama?
GH Spoilers: Olivia Quartermaine Will Be Just As Suspicious As Carly Spencer
GH spoilers imply that Olivia may suspect that Ned’s behind Carly’s SEC arrest. After all, he was far more preoccupied with ELQ business on the cusp of Millow’s wedding than, well, the bittersweet event that was about to take place! Not to mention the fact that he’s been overly obsessed with ousting Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) from his CEO role; all while Valentin was dealing with Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) shooting.
In fact, if history is any indication of “who is behind this” (even though GH fans know EXACTLY who is), Ned would seem like the number one suspect. Calling the SEC is a classic Quartermaine move.

Olivia is all about putting family first, and Ned grew up in an environment where family members backstabbed each other on a daily basis. The two have clashed before but have seemingly come through past trust issues and have placed communication as a priority in their marriage. The couple will likely fight about it, or at least have a heated discussion, and Olivia may express her frustration at Ned for diving into old (and bad) family business habits. However, will Olivia ultimately believe Ned when he tells her he was not behind the call that implicated Carly and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) in insider trading activities? Will anyone believe him?
