General Hospital (GH) spoilers hint that Carly Spencer may point the wrong finger of blame when it comes to her insider trading arrest. Actress Laura Wright spoke with Soap Opera Digest (SOD) recently to talk about what will be running through Carly’s head as she deals with all this new drama.
GH Spoilers: Carly Spencer Is Shocked About What’s Unravelling
GH spoilers imply that Carly will be reeling over her SEC arrest, and just be overall shocked. Wright notes that getting in trouble with the authorities was not at all on her radar, as she was completely preoccupied with Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) declining condition and her wedding to Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell). Laura states her character will not only be completely caught off guard but feel angry and frustrated, too.
With that said, Ms. Wright adds that if she knew Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) was behind it all, Carly would be seething.
GH Spoilers: Carly Spencer’s Mind Goes Straight To Ned Quartermaine
Laura tells SOD that Carly immediately suspects Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth). In fact, she’ll question Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) on whether or not he told anyone, and he’ll tell her he didn’t. Of course, what Carly and Sonny both don’t know is that Nina does know and overheard him talking about it.
Wright reveals that Nina won’t even cross Carly’s mind, but Ned’s name will. After all, he had threatened her and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) before, and she figures this is a business move on his part. With that said, Drew will be on her mind, and she’ll be hoping he won’t get picked up by the SEC before he can rescue Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) and bring her back home so she can donate her bone marrow to Willow. Laura notes that Carly wants Drew to come back home safe, but she’s very worried about Willow and her dire health condition.
