General Hospital Spoilers: Carly Accuses Innocent Ned Of Turning Her In

General Hospital spoilers reveal Carly jumping to conclusions about how she ended up at the PCPD right after Michael and Willow’s wedding. If it wasn’t for Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth), Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) wouldn’t even know she committed insider trading when she put almost all of her money into Aurora stock after both Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) told her they planned to merge Aurora Media with ELQ. C

arly’s insider stock knowledge is what led her to make this purchase and they were thrilled because her purchase would drive Aurora’s stock up. The fact that this is the very definition of insider trading was lost on this not-too-bright crew.

General Hospital Spoilers: The Obvious Choice?

Ned is the one that had to tell these dummies what they did and mentioned if he wanted, he could call the SEC and turn them in for such a move. That prompted Drew to deduce that he and Carly needed to keep their romantic relationship a secret lest anyone find out they committed a federal crime.

So, of course, Carly will decide it was Ned who did the deed. Michael already hurled accusations at Ned and now it will be Carly’s turn. Perhaps Ned might want to rethink the idea of putting Michael back in charge of ELQ and getting rid of Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart).

GH Spoilers: Carly Doesn’t Have All The Info

“Immediately, she thinks it’s Ned because she doesn’t think that Nina even knows,” Laura Wright said in the May 8, 2023, issue of Soap Opera Digest. “She flat-out asks Sonny, ‘Did you tell anyone?’ And he says, ‘No, I didn’t.’ The only person who knows and who threatened is Ned. It’s a business thing, so it’s not like Carly has Nina in her mind at this time.”

Carly is also worried about the SEC finding Drew since he is on a mission in Greenland to bring back Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) bone marrow…aka Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati). Poor Liesl’s only purpose to these people is to save Willow’s life and then they won’t care about her anymore, so they better hope that Nina’s impulsive move also doesn’t result in Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) killing 80% of humanity.

As if Willow is the only person they should be worried about… Stay tuned to General Hospital weekdays to see how this story plays out. Come back often for General Hospital spoilers, news, and updates.

  • If the shoe had been on the other foot and Nina had been reported for insider trading, the first person she would have thought of would be Carly which shows me Carly does have her good sides every now and then as does Nina. Of course thinking rationally, Carly would think of Ned first as knowing the situation. More than sure it won't be Ned that did the deed, Tracy maybe, but first on the list would be Marty (poor guy), who was working for Nina.
