General Hospital spoilers tease Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) has just landed herself in a rather precarious position. Her grandmother, Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot), is bent on learning what’s happening on the inside at Deception, and she’s sent Brook Lynn back to the company to help her carry out her plans for corporate espionage. Brook Lynn doesn’t have much wiggle room to negotiate with her granny.
After all, Tracy had to tap some pretty affluent connections to get Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) reinstated at the PCPD, and BLQ needs that secret to stay buried. Knowing Tracy will make good on her threat to clue him in, Brook Lynn is at Tracy’s mercy for now. If that wasn’t problematic enough, Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) is about to discover what Brook Lynn is up to.

The reign of lies continues for Brook Lynn as she rekindles her romance with Chase. She is torn between the joy of being in a loving relationship again and the guilt of the deceit she has woven. With each passing day, it becomes more oppressive to carry the burden of her lies. Her focus is now on keeping Tracy updated about the Deception’s projects, a task that delicately hangs in balance as Gladys lurks around, always listening. One misstep and Gladys could use that information as leverage, creating more turmoil for Brookie.
GH Spoilers Leak Gladys’ Understands BLQ’s Plight
Gladys and Brook Lynn share something in common. They’ve both lied to the people they love for their own benefit. Brook Lynn promised Chase she was deeply sorry and saw the error of her ways in meddling with his career, but she’s already done the very same thing again behind his back. If he ever finds out, they will most certainly be over for good. She can’t let that happen; she just got him back.
Likewise, Gladys knows that if Sasha Gilmore Corbin (Sofia Mattson) learned she had used her authority as Sasha’s legal guardian and stole her fortune — losing in a string of bad gambling moves — she would probably ice her out for good, too. In addition, Sasha would probably have grounds to take legal action against Gladys if she wanted to. Gladys can’t afford to mess this up. She has to pay her debt to Selina Wu (Lydia Look) — and learning a Quartermaine’s dirty little secret might be just the way to do it.

Gladys may succeed in blackmailing Brook Lynn and swindling her out of thousands, but she’s not exactly a Quartermaine when it comes to business dealings. When Gladys realizes she might be able to get her hands on a surplus of money from Brook Lynn — far more than she owes Selina — it might give her some negotiating power with the mobstress to get herself back into those back-room card games at The Savoy.
