General Hospital Spoilers: Brook Lynn Drops A Bombshell, Willow Unravels & BLQ’s Marriage Crumbles
General Hospital spoilers and updates tease that Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) is scheming to undermine Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen).
However, this plan could backfire spectacularly, leading her husband Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) to leave her for Willow once everything is resolved.
Things Are Going To Get Very Messy, And Very Soon
Things are about to get complicated!
With Brook Lynn teaming up with Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) to frame Willow as the mysterious other driver in Jordan Ashford’s (Tanisha Harper) accident, it’s hard to see how this will end well for her.
It’s becoming clear that Brook Lynn is the actual other driver involved in the crash.
Initially, there was some uncertainty since Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) was also driving that night, along with Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) who was behind the wheel of Charlotte Cassadine’s (Bluesy Burke) car, which ultimately crashed.
Isaiah Told Lucas He Scraped His SUV In The Garage, Curtis Overheard
When Isaiah told Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) that he had scraped his SUV in the garage and needed a paint job, it raised further questions about his innocence.
It didn’t help that Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) overheard the conversation-it suggested he might have lied and staged the incident to get his car fixed.
Lucas could bring this up, especially since Isaiah’s refusal to let acting DA Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor) take a paint sample from his vehicle made him seem suspicious.
But allowing police to search your car or home without a warrant or probable cause is never wise; Curtis took this as another indication of guilt.
Plus, the DA is close friends with Jordan, which adds even more reason for Isaiah to keep things under wraps.
Brook Lynn Is Taking Advantage Of The Situation
Now, Brook Lynn is taking advantage of the situation because she knows she had a drink with Lucy before getting in the car; just one glass, but still.
It’s unlikely that Brook Lynn intentionally left the scene of the accident-at that moment, she wasn’t really guilty of anything and wanted to be honest.
However, Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) advised against it.
It’s concerning that Brook Lynn didn’t insist on going to the PCPD to say, “Hey, just so you know.”
She probably wouldn’t have faced any trouble, especially if she explained that Jordan swerved into her lane and nearly hit her.
Curtis And Jordan Were Completely At Fault
The reality is that Curtis and Jordan were completely at fault-now, Isaiah might never be able to be a surgeon again because Brook Lynn didn’t tell the truth.
She’s acting like a true Quartermaine with this terrible plan to shift the blame onto Willow.
Not that anyone feels sorry for Nina Reeves’s (Cynthia Watros) daughter; let’s be honest; Willow is terrible.
She should be in prison for shooting Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and also deserves to be punished for keeping Drew drugged and attempting to drug Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna).
But Willow should face consequences for her actual crimes, not for fake ones she didn’t commit; that would be fair.
Brook Lynn Is Just Acting Like Her Aunt Tracy!
Brook Lynn is aware that she is making a poor choice-however, her desperation to keep Willow away from Chase has led her to compromise her values, resembling her grandmother Tracy’s behavior.
In fact, the plan she is devising closely mirrors a scheme her grandma executed years ago; recall that about six years ago, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) was drinking heavily.
She and Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) had a drunken one-night stand, and he suspected Olivia was involved with Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers).
This infuriated Tracy because Alexis intended to confess the affair to Olivia Falconeri (Lisa LoCicero), which would devastate Olivia and Ned’s marriage.
Tracy Framed Alexis For Drunk Driving
Tracy found Alexis at the Metro Court bar, intoxicated, and offered her a ride home.
When Alexis passed out in the car, Tracy switched her into the driver’s seat and then misled Detective Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) by claiming she had brought Alexis home to help her sober up.
Instead, she said Alexis drove off while drunk, leading to Alexis’s arrest.
The charges were eventually dropped when the truth surfaced, and Tracy fled to escape the fallout.
It seems Brook Lynn might be taking a page from her grandmother Tracy’s playbook, as she is now engaging in a similar scheme.
Katelyn MacMullen Claims Willow Isn’t After Chase
Katelyn MacMullen, who portrays Willow, mentioned that her character is not currently interested in Chase, but this could change.
One factor that might influence this is Brook Lynn trying to set Willow up.
Last Friday, Chase made a significant arrest, and we were curious if it would involve either Willow or Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota), since the term ‘high-profile’ suggests that the person arrested is someone notable.
Additionally, during a conversation between Lucy and Brook Lynn, they talked about checking if Willow had an alibi for that night.
On the day of Jordan’s crash, but earlier-Willow was at the Quartermaine Mansion-that was the moment she arrived to assist Brook Lynn and Chase in getting approved as foster parents.
Willow Helped Chase And Brook Lynn Get Approved To Adopt Baby Phoebe
Chase and Brook Lynn are intent on adopting baby Phoebe (Luna and Lucia Creighton) so, she was doing them a favor.
Later that day, if Willow was either home alone or in a daze with Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), she might lack an alibi.
Lucy mentioned that they wouldn’t have proof against Willow.
However, she and Brook Lynn could spread the rumor to damage Willow’s reputation.
By the way, Chase didn’t arrest Willow; instead, he arrested Tracy-clearly, trouble is on the horizon.
The Truth Comes Out
Eventually, Chase will find out that Brook Lynn tried to frame Willow for being a hit-and-run driver.
Even worse, it could have Brook Lynn who actually left the scene of the accident, although it’s possible she didn’t see them crash.
Also, Lucy knows that Brook Lynn was drinking that night; if asked, Lucy would probably tell the truth on General Hospital.
When Chase discovers that his wife set up Willow, their marriage will break down- Chase is very grateful to Willow for her help in fostering and adopting baby Phoebe.
But, Chase has no idea about Willow’s true character-he doesn’t realize she’s a she-villain because he hasn’t seen any proof of her misdeeds.
Could Chase Turn On Brook Lynn?
Should Chase come across undeniable evidence that Brook Lynn attempted to frame Willow, it’s not sure he would be able to forgive his wife.
Even if Brook Lynn insists she was just worried about Chase cheating with Willow, that won’t help her situation.
Chase is genuinely upset that Tracy accused him of being unfaithful, he has never cheated on anyone he has been with.
He and Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) only pretended to cheat in the past to bring Michael Corinthos (then Chad Duell, now Rory Gibson) and Willow together for Michael’s custody case over Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver).
But Chase never actually slept with Sasha, as he is a very law-abiding individual.
Brook Lynn Blows Up Her Marriage In Spite Of Trying To Save It?
Brook Lynn is trying to damage Willow’s reputation by bringing up an incident she was part of, where she can be seen as partly responsible for the lies-wow!
Chase is going to be really upset about this, and he might decide to leave with baby Phoebe.
In custody court, it’s a good cop against a jealous wife who tried to frame an innocent woman; this could be a straightforward case.
We’ll see how it unfolds, but it seems like Brook Lynn is on the verge of ruining her own marriage-ultimately, this is because she is a Quartermaine.
