General Hospital spoilers tease Betty Rutherford (Ella Lentini) seemed to come onto the scene and wreck Ava Jerome’s (Maura West) plans pretty quickly.
What started as a game of cat and mouse with Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey) quickly took a much darker turn as Betty sank her teeth into Avery Corinthos (Grace Scarola) and threatened to do the same with Ava’s birth mother.
But little does Ava know, Betty isn’t just working for someone else’s special interests, but she has some of her own.

Back in 1996, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) was preparing himself to welcome his first child into the world with his first wife, Lily Corinthos (Lilly Melgar).
It seemed believable at the time that the cat bomb stole Lily and his child away from Sonny in an instant. That was his first big loss as a mob boss who wouldn’t give up the business for love, and he’s had a chip on his shoulder about the trauma ever since.
Over the years, Sonny has fall in and out of love with many women, and the fear that someone he loves would end up paying the price for his lifestyle has never escaped him.
Moreover, it came tumbling down upon him all over again when his son, Morgan Corinthos (Bryan Craig), died much the same was Lily alegedly did.
GH Spoilers Hint Lily Didn’t Die
But what if Lily didn’t really die that day? Could her father, Hernando Rivera (Ismael ‘East’ Carlo) — who hated Sonny — have staged the explosion as a cover for kidnapping Lily and her unborn child?
If so, where have they been all of this time and how did he manage to keep Lily from ever running back to her ex?
Maybe he convinced her the explosion was real and not his own doing — and scared her into compliance. Or, it’s possible that he brainwashed both Lily and her child against Sonny over the years.
General Hospital Spoilers — Betty, the Lovechild — and Bargaining Chip
If Betty is Sonny’s daughter, her goal may have more to do with a personal agenda and settling the score with a father she believes almost killed her and possibly tossed her aside, than she does Mason’s dirty work she doesn’t seem all that interested in.
Will Betty worm her way further into Sonny’s world while he remains in the dark about who she may really be? Will he only learn the truth too late, after he has harmed her much the way he did with Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna)? Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers to find out.
