Why would she betray him like this? However, it’s not a surprise to fans who know her history. She has a twisted history that involved Morgan Corinthos’ (Bryan Craig) death.
Ava was also responsible for the murder of Sonny’s fiance Kate Howard (Kelly Sullivan). Some GH fans wonder whether the new writers are setting up for her departure from the daytime soap.

“What’s funny is that I don’t see that what she’s doing is that different from what Nina did,” another user noted.
According to the General Hospital spoilers, Ava is just as bad as Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros). Other fans recounted her recent crimes. Ava meddled with Sonny’s meds, betrayed Nina, and is now Alexis’ accuser.
“What is the end game with Ava? I hope MW is not leaving,” one fan mused.

Maura West is fantastic. She lights up the scene every she’s featured. I also prefer her character 1000x to Nina. MW is a great actress but return to her darkest side isn’t believable or playing well. No matter what she’s done, she isn’t so stupid as she’s acting now. Nothing good can come of what she’s doing and she is a mother who has some sense about what’s good and not good for Avery. Her good side plays really well (relationship with Tina). She can go so many ways. I hope one of them isn’t out. What a huge loss that would be.
Ava did not meddle with Sonny’ meds. Valentin and Sonny’s pharmacist are responsible for that. Ava knows about it and has not said anything about it yet.
