General Hospital Spoilers: As Carly Continues to Defend Jason, She May Lose More Than Drew in the Process

General Hospital Spoilers tease Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) knew it was going to be a problem for the police when she insisted Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) did nothing wrong — allegedly while not having spoken to him herself.

Coming Up On General Hospital

Carly could tell that stopping by the hospital to check on Dante Falconeri’s (Dominic Zamprogna) condition may not have been the best choice. Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) was seemingly bitter at and furious with her.

The more Carly continues to defend Jason, the more firmly Sam will dig her heels into the ground while insisting this may all be his fault. In the interim, Carly’s grandstanding for Jason and insistence he did nothing.

Wrong will throw a wrench into her personal life that she didn’t see coming. This goes much deeper than losing Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison).

General Hospital Spoilers — Sonny Backs Up

Carly is suddenly single, and she may not be sharing it if she’s letting herself think of her wedding night with Jason that never came to fruition.

This may be their one chance to get it right, and it’ll only help that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is just as ticked as Sam is that Carly won’t admit Jason could be guilty.

The more Carly tells Sonny he’s wrong for not intuitively knowing Jason is innocent, the more their difference of opinion will fracture their already-shaky relationship.

GH Spoilers Say Sam is Done Tiptoeing

Sonny isn’t the only one who will be finding himself needing a break from Carly. If Sam never sees her set foot back in the hospital during Dante’s stay again, it’ll be too soon.

It’s too raw and too painful for Sam to hear from anyone that there may be no accountability for the person who shot Dante. If it has to be Jason just so it’s someone, and there is someone to blame, so be it.

That’s the grief talking perhaps but Sam won’t hesitate to say such to Carly’s face when she tells her to pack it in and get out of her face.

General Hospital Spoilers — Joss Distances Herself

The biggest surprise that lies ahead is that Josslyn ‘Joss’ Jacks (Eden McCoy) will start to backpedal and pull away from her mother.

Their once tight relationship may start to come apart at the seams and Joss tries to wrap her head around the fact that Carly will defend Jason even when she doesn’t know if he’s innocent.

That used to be a trait that Joss loved about her mom. It signaled she had faith in the people she loves. But now, she’s not so sure. Given the way she feels about Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) now, the truth about her mother’s bias toward Jason could turn Joss’ stomach just the same. Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers just ahead
