General Hospital Spoilers: Alexis And Diane Spar Over The Controversial Case Of Heather Webber
General Hospital spoilers tease that Heather Webber (Alley Mills) may actually get yet another chance at freedom. Given the sheer number and severity of her crimes, Heather would normally spend the rest of her life in prison.
Just counting her time as “The Hook” alone, Heather committed several brutal murders and injured many others. But a recent trip to General Hospital revealed a stunning diagnosis. Heather has been suffering from cobalt poisoning due to a faulty hip replacement.
General Hospital Spoilers – Laura Collins wasn’t to reopen Heather Webber’s case
According to her doctors, it’s possible that Heather’s darker impulses were at least partially due to the cobalt in her system. Upon hearing about this, Mayor Laura Collins (Genie Francis) has been looking into the possibility of having a judge look over Heather’s convictions and sentencing.
She’s already spoken to Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn), who is currently in the process of getting her law license back, who has done some research to find prior cases that may have been similar.
While Laura isn’t necessarily saying that Heather should go free, so is concerned that her cobalt poisoning hasn’t been considered when deciding her fate.
GH Spoilers – Laura Webber is courting controversy!
News of :Laura’s plan for Heather was leaked to the public and the public outrage has been more than Laura might have expected. Portia Robinson (Brooke Kerr) and her husband Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) have already expressed the fury over the possibility of Heather going free.
There are many other, like Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson), Ava Jerome (Maura West) and Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) who suffered one way or another because of Heather. But Laura is determined to move forward and for that she will need a practicing attorney.
General Hospital Spoilers – Alexis Davis may take the case!
Alexis was disbarred a few years ago, but she is now trying to have the decision overturned and it seems likely she will be successful. Alexis is passionate about fighting for the underdog on one hand, but she’s also well aware of Heather’s lengthy criminal background.
In addition, if she even considers taking Heather’s case it’s likely to cause friction with her best friend Diane. Heather almost killed Diane in her guise as “The Hook”. Diane has been instrumental in helping Alexis with her appeal with the bar association, she might very well see it as a betrayal should Alexis agree to take Heather’s case.
If Heather goes free, Alexis could make a lot of enemies, including her best friend.
What do you think?
Should Heather’s case be re-evaluated? Will Alexis get her law license back? How will Diane feel if Alexis takes on Heather’s case?
