General Hospital Spoilers: A New Era for Willow Leads to Breaking Her Mother’s Heart
General Hospital spoilers gush Willow Tait Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) has been keeping major secrets, and it would seem most of the fan base is here for it. That being said, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) may not be.
Willow clued Nina in on why she actually married Drew — to get her kids back and get those pesky attempted murder charges dropped.
To be honest, I thought she would wait a bit longer before making her next move, but it’s possible that Michael Corinthos’ (Rory Gibson) olive branch offered just before her trial ended could have nudged her to speed things up.
If Drew is out of the way, there is nothing preventing her from seeing her kids, right? Possibly, except that she may have just made herself an attempted murderer — again. Will Nina be able to withstand the truth about her daughter as it all comes crashing down?
Will She Finish the Job?
We know Nina so well at this point. She’ll probably try to rationalize Willow’s every move. She hates Drew and would love to see him out of the way — permanently.
She will absolutely try to help Willow cover this up if it comes to that. We know she won’t think twice about giving her a false alibi, but that may not work since Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) has stopped by briefly after Nina had already left.
Will he cover for Willow and go even farther in risking his badge? Is Drew going on a trip to the hospital — or the morgue?
Willow Isn’t as Forgiving as She Seems
Did you catch that needle jabbed into Drew’s neck on Monday? Willow isn’t playing. The very moment she got alone time with Drew, she put the next step in her plan in motion, and it looks like it’s going to be a doozy.
We have to consider that just because Willow has been semi-open with Nina about her agenda in marrying Drew, does not mean she trusts Nina or has forgiven her for sleeping with the man she loved.
If Willow has plans in store for Drew, we can bet she also isn’t finished with her mother.
The Nail in Nina’s Coffin?
Over the years of believing she couldn’t have children, Nina committed a few mortal sins that will haunt her forever.
She might be tight with Ava Jerome (Maura West) now, but once upon a time she kidnapped her daughter. Nina was only halfway healed when Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) brought her into Charlotte Cassadine’s (Bluesy Burke) life, and then she ghosted her for Nixon Falls when life got tough.
Learning Nelle Benson Jerome (Chloe Lanier) was her daughter was bittersweet, both because she was dead and because she was psychotic. Now, facing the reality that Willow has also snapped is going to hit home for Nina — hard.
Can she bounce back from another crazy criminal daughter? Keep checking back with us for more GH news and spoilers to see how this plays out.
