General Hospital spoilers and updates reveal it seems that certain ex-partners are beginning to reconnect and might be on the brink of getting back together. In soap operas, couples frequently find their way back to each other, but this isn’t always a positive development-let’s talk about three pairs of exes that shouldn’t reunite!

Number One-Jordan And Curtis Ashford

To begin with, we have Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) and Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner). Curtis unjustly criticized Jordan for her work-related confidentiality, leading to the breakdown of their marriage. There’s really no reason for Jordan to invite further pain, especially since Curtis hasn’t grasped the lessons he’s supposed to have learned by now!

Moreover, Curtis is currently being excessively judgmental towards Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr), which makes it unlikely he’d treat Jordan any better if he were to swap his current wife for his ex. Ultimately, it seems like a poor decision for Curtis and Jordan to revisit their past relationship.

Liz is still dealing with her breakup from Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson) and the reality that he has left Port Charles. Elizabeth must concentrate on mending her own heart – not handing it over to Ric just for him to shatter it again. Although Ric and Ava Jerome’s (Maura West) relationship might fall apart, that doesn’t imply he should rekindle things with Liz, as it would only result in more bad news. All of Ric’s blackmail issues are likely to explode eventually, leaving Elizabeth enraged, so it would be wiser to avoid any possible reunion and prevent further heartbreak.

Number Three-Sonny And Carly

Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) have been getting closer lately, leading some fans to question if they might become a couple again. Carly’s relationship with Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) is likely to fail because of the secrets he’s hiding about Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy), but that doesn’t mean she should go back to Sonny. Carly and Sonny have tried to create a lasting romance before, but it hasn’t worked out yet, besides, Sonny and this Carly have never really had strong chemistry.

It can also be nice when former couples can maintain a friendship without feeling the need to pursue romance again, and that would be best for ‘Carson’. Carly and Sonny will always care for one another, but maybe it’s better for them to express that care as friends and co-parents rather than as lovers.
