General Hospital Spoilers: 3 Heartbreaking Breakups That Will Rock Port Charles
General Hospital spoilers and updates reveal three heart-wrenching breakups are set to transform Port Charles. These relationships are fated to unravel, so here’s what GH fans can look forward to in the upcoming months.
Drew Cain And Willow Corinthos
Let’s dive into the situation with Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison); Willow views Drew as a fantastic person, unaware that he’s actually a deceitful manipulator.
This sets the stage for a significant downfall for her-eventually, Willow will uncover Drew’s true nature, and it won’t be a pleasant revelation! It’s only a matter of time before she learns about his entanglements with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and other hidden scandals he’s been concealing.
Despite Drew’s optimistic outlook on starting fresh with Willow, their relationship is destined to unravel. Eventually, Willow should see some cracks in her “Prince Charming’s” armor, and realize he’s not the hero she thinks he is.
Destined To Fail
Willow is bound to betray Drew; it’s only a matter of time before their relationship crumbles-she seems to have a history of tiring of men. She was married to Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) for a short time when she started cheating on him with Michael Corinthos (most recently Chad Duell).
It made it even worse that Chase was dying of being poisoned and was in a wheelchair at the time.
This split might lead to Willow harboring feelings of revenge, while also presenting her with new romantic opportunities. Whether she decides to reconcile with Michael or finds herself drawn to another partner, significant transformations are on the horizon for her.
Carly Spencer And Jack Brennan
It’s clear that Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) are headed for trouble in their relationship. Brennan is hiding some unsettling truths, including Josslyn Jacks’ (Eden McCoy) connection to Cyrus Renault’s (Jeff Kober) downfall and his role in steering her towards that crime. He even went so far as to conceal Josslyn’s actions, ensuring that Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) hair was strategically placed at the cabin.
To make matters worse, Brennan has now involved Josslyn in dangerous WSB operations, setting Carly up for a shocking reality check in the near future. Carly is famous for hating a “lying liar who lies” and eventually she’ll find out that he is one!
Carly Won’t Tolerate Secrets And Sneaky Moves
Carly is unlikely to overlook the deceitful actions Brennan has taken, making it clear that their relationship will end once his hidden truths come to light. While she will undoubtedly be angry and heartbroken, there’s a chance she could find her way back to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) after the split.
Additionally, Carly may seek some form of revenge on Brennan, setting the stage for a significant change in her life. It may be difficult for her to accept the told you so’s that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) warned her of about Brennan all along, but she’ll have to admit he was right.
Lucky Spencer And Elizabeth Baldwin
Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) and Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson) are facing a potential breakup filled with turmoil.
Lucky is concealing the truth about the car accident and Kristina Corinthos-Davis’ (Kate Mansi) involvement, but he can’t keep this secret hidden forever-what will happen when Liz discovers Lucky’s lies? Rather than rebuilding trust, Lucky is inadvertently creating significant trust issues; this attempt at rekindling their relationship seems doomed, especially with Lucky caught up in the fallout from the car accident.
Will Lucky end up with Kristina after his chance to reconnect with Elizabeth falls apart? Only time will reveal the outcome, but it seems that Liz and Lucky’s latest effort to mend their relationship may be fleeting.
