An Ex Replaces A Bestie
General Hospital spoilers for Tuesday, September 29 confirm that Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) paid Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) a visit. She brought a bottle of wine and needed to vent to her colleague.
This was interesting since there was a time when Britt and Lucas couldn’t stand each other. With that said, it’s clear that Lucas has become the person Britt goes to when she needs to drink and talk things out!
There was once a time when Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) was her go-to friend for things of this nature; however, it looks like Lucas has replaced him.
Fans With Mixed Emotions
There are some General Hospital fans who love the friendship that has developed between Lucas and Britt. Thiebaud and Hansis share amazing chemistry as friends, and their banter is both entertaining and hilarious.
They’ve been through a lot together thanks to the whole Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) situation, and it’s nice that they have bonded.
That said, some viewers are a little saddened that they may not see Brad on the canvas now that Britt has a new buddy to turn to in the form of Lucas.
Especially since it’s Lucas! Not only because he and Brad are exes, but because everyone knows that Brad still has a thing for Lucas and would jump at the chance for a reunion. How would he feel knowing Britt’s gotten so close to him?
After all, isn’t Britt breaking some sort of friend code by becoming besties with Lucas … especially since it seems as if she’s replacing him with Lucas?
Could a new storyline emerge where Brad enters the equation? He could be a little more than pissed at Britt for getting so close to Lucas? Then again, could he ask her for help to get Lucas back? Anything is possible!
