General Hospital (GH) spoilers suggest Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) just might be ballsy enough to turn down a bone marrow transplant merely because the donation would come from Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros). Yes, she’s that bitter. Nina is willing to forget the past, let bygones be bygones, and help save Willow’s life. Willow thinks it’s predictable that Nina would feel that way because she thinks Nina is the only one in their relationship who has done anything wrong. Is Willow really going to risk dying and leaving her children without a mother just because she hates her own mother that much?
General Hospital Spoilers — Why Couldn’t It Have Been Anyone Else But Nina Reeves?
Willow might continue to lament over the heartache of finding out Nina is her birth mother. She’s not entirely sure she wants Nina’s help, even if it means losing the chance to be a mother to her own children. Willow may not be thinking clearly right now, and it’s understandable given how upsetting this traumatic news is. However, her willingness to go back and forth on whether she can digest the idea of being a recipient of Nina’s bone marrow is going to leave Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) sick to his stomach.
General Hospital Updates – Willow Tait’s Ego Stands In The Way
Is this really about disgust? Sure, Willow hates Nina and doesn’t want her anywhere near her family. But hating her so much that she would rather part ways with her family herself is a little extreme. Michael might suggest that this goes deeper than just disliking Nina, a feeling he shares. Rather, could it be that Willow is turned off by Nina’s willingness to help her out because she is disappointed in who her birth mother is? The longer that Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) was searching for her family, the more Willow started to wonder about things like who she looked like and whether this would lead to a big family reunion or a dumpster fire. Now that she knows the truth, she may be disappointed and trying to process that by resisting Nina’s efforts to smooth things over.
Will Love For Her Family Win Out?
Ultimately, we can all expect that Willow is going to pull through this, and she’ll take the help where she can get it — even from Nina — because it means she will get to live on with her children, marry the man she loves, and watch their family grow together. How might her choice impact her relationship — or lack thereof — with Nina? Only time will tell, but Nina has every reason to hope that the biological bond she shares with Willow will be too strong for her daughter to ignore. Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers just ahead.
