Victor knows that Nikolas has gotten into trouble because of Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl). Victor was horrified when he found out that Nikolas had a one-night stand with Esme. Victor offered to have Esme killed in order to help Nikolas to hold onto his marriage to Ava. Nikolas and Ava are facing a serious problem with Esme. Ava found out that Nikolas had slept with Esme and went to confront her. Ava and Esme got into an argument which resulted in Esme falling from the parapet at Wyndemere. Nikolas and Ava have decided to keep the secret that Esme fell because they believed that she did not survive. Nikolas may believe that he could tell Victor about Ava and Esme. Victor would want to help Nikolas and Ava to deal with keeping the secret about Esme.
