General Hospital’s Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) has missed all of the drama that has unfolded since Peter August (ex-Wes Ramsey) kidnapped Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms). However, fans won’t have to wait much longer for Valentin’s reaction since he returns in March.
General Hospital – James Patrick Stuart’s Other Series
General Hospital James Patrick Stuart has been off filming his series, Villains of ValleyView, for Disney. Stuart is good at playing villains and that hasn’t changed with this new series either. Stuart announced in May 2021 that he was filming the pilot for the new series, then called Meet The Mayhems. However, he also assured fans that he was not leaving General Hospital either.
Stuart announced on Twitter that he was currently filming episode 8 in the series after it was picked up for a season. As fans know, Disney is also the parent company of ABC and therefore General Hospital. The two shows film about 20 minutes apart but it seems that filming the episodes of Villains is what was considered the best course of action. This leaves the road open for Stuart to resume as Valentin in March.
General Hospital – Valentin Cassadine Has Missed A lot
Under normal circumstances, Valentin would have insisted on helping Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) when she went after Peter. Valentin has very deep feelings for Anna and would have never trusted her with just Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna). After all, Drew has been brainwashed by Cesar Faison (ex-Anders Hove) and Peter knew how to activate him.
Dante has been tortured and brainwashed by a drug cartel that put him in the hospital for well over a year. The only reason Valentin stayed behind was that Peter had kidnapped his daughter while Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) had Valentin held. Valentin knew that he needed to remain in Port Charles at the moment.
General Hospital – Valentin Cassadine’s Reaction To Peter August’s Death Is Essential
General Hospital’s Valentin was the one who placed Peter into the hands of Faison as a child. Valentin was Peter’s mentor and tried to support him until Peter because uncontrollable. However, this does not change the fact that Valentin felt guilty for handing Peter over as a child when the truth about Anna came out. Anna also feels responsible and needs Valentin to lean on to get through this. Will fans see Valentin’s reaction on screen?
Valentin is bound to be wracked with guilt over Peter’s death. Will their shared grief bring Valentin and Anna closer when Valentin returns?

I’m glad Victor is coming back. He’s a great actor. I just hope he will forget about getting even with Brooklyn. She’s sad enough. Just go get Anna and be happy for awhile.
