General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that more sad times are coming in Port Charles. The hospital has barely had the time to mourn Epiphany Jones (Sonja Eddy). But due to the recent passing of actress Jaclyn Zeman, nurse Bobbie Spencer will likely soon join her. Bobbie has been a staple in Port Charles for decades and this will be a huge loss for everyone.

Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) didn’t grow up with her mother Bobbie. Instead, Bobbie put her baby up for adoption because she was a prostitute at the time. Carly hated Bobbie for years and even slept with Bobbie’s husband in order to get revenge. But the two eventually mended fences and became as close as any mother and daughter out there. By the time Carly had children of her own, Bobbie was a doting grandmother. Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), the late Morgan Corinthos (last played by Bryan Craig) and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) all loved Bobbie. Michael and Joss will certainly be devastated at Bobbie’s passing,
General Hospital Updates – Laura Collins Was Bobbie Spencer’s Rival!
Bobbie and Laura Collins (Genie Francis) were rivals for Scott Baldwin’s (Kin Shriner) affection decades ago. Bobbie even brought her brother Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary) to Port Charles to help her keep Scott and Laura apart. Scott and Laura eventually married, but quickly divorced once Laura fell in love with Luke. Bobbie and Laura continued to have issues for decades, but in recent years the two of them made peace.
Bobbie Spencer, Head Nurse!
Bobbie was the head nurse at General Hospital for years before she took a more administrative position at General Hospital. She touched the lives of many Port Charles residents in her role of nurse. Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) has newly been named into the head nursing position at the hospital but she will have even bigger shoes to fill with both Bobbie and Epiphany making the position their own over the years. Here’s hoping she is up to the task!
