General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) is going to ask for his mother’s support in his upcoming fight for — well, pretty much everything in his life. Nikolas has forsaken everyone he claimed ever mattered to him. He left his own son and the rest of his loved ones thinking he was dead for four years. Why? Money. That’s what mattered to him most. Although he now claims that money isn’t everything and he learned his lesson the hard way, it won’t look like that when he’s bitter and fuming as Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) makes it clear she wants one thing in their divorce more than any other — Nik’s castle on Spoon Island. If that wasn’t bad enough, his son is going to fight Nikolas for custody of Nik’s new baby. Will Laura Collins (Genie Francis) have to choose a side, and will her loyalty lie with her son?
General Hospital Spoilers — Ava Jerome Wants Everything
Ava is a woman scorned by a Cassadine; there may be nothing worse to contend with in a courtroom. Nik won’t be looking forward to battling her, but he still has no idea what she’s even going to come after him for. He thought he offered her a more than fair settlement when he served her with divorce papers after he attested to Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) being pregnant with his child. So Ava does have a good idea of what Nikolas thinks she deserves and what he’s willing to part with. That most certainly isn’t going to be enough to satisfy Ava’s appetite for revenge though.
General Hospital Updates – Spencer Cassadine Wants His Half-Sibling
Spencer has just revealed his plans to sue for custody of Nikolas’s child with Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl), his ex-girlfriend. Esme is currently housed at Spring Ridge; so it shouldn’t be difficult to win custody over her assuming she hasn’t been exonerated by the time she gives birth. However, Spencer pales in comparison to his father on paper. Nikolas is an experienced parent who is established, with a fortune and a home of his own. Spencer is living with his uncle, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), a known mob boss. He’s going to have to bring a pretty impressive case against his father if he wants to make himself look good as a recently released convicted felon.
Laura Collins Is Stuck In The Middle And Can’t Defend Nik Cassadine
When Nik pleads with his mother for her support, she will give it, but that doesn’t mean she will withdraw support from her grandson, Spencer. This may irritate Nikolas and if he reacts too harshly, it could push Laura more in Spencer’s direction. Has she given her own son too much benefit of the doubt since he returned from his faux grave in 2019? Laura may start to reflect on the choices she has made in supporting Nik blindly if she’s forced to choose between him and Spencer. Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers to find out whose side she picks.
