General Hospital spoilers and updates tease in this week’s Soap Opera Digest that Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) will be blindsided. The last thing he expects to see in Wyndmere Castle is Esmé Prince, (Avery Kristen Pohl) very much alive, and breaking into his safe.
General Hospital Spoilers – Esmé Prince Sneaks Into Wyndemere
Esmé sneaks into Wyndemere Castle after visiting her father, Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) in Spring Ridge. She likely uses the tunnels under Port Charles that run under the harbor and onto Spoon Island, with a secret entrance into Wyndemere. She sneaks in through the secret entrance as Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) and Nikolas are having an intense conversation, wanting to know what else Ava Cassadine (Maura West) has on him.
Esmé is so brazen she’s not even afraid of Victor, she thinks she can use him to her advantage. As for deciding to make Wyndemere her home again, it’s a huge mansion in a castle with lots of secret rooms and on an island-the perfect place.
GH Spoilers – Nikolas Cassadine Believes She’s Dead
Nikolas is so sure Esmé is dead, after falling from the parapet and not showing up for more than a month that he signed a confession he killed her. That is what Victor was talking about, although thanks to Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) he was able to retrieve it from Ava after Nikolas gave it to her. Esmé continues to eavesdrop on their conversation, and then she needs to figure out where to get some money so she decides to break into Nikolas’s safe. Victor leaves, and Nikolas comes upon Esmé in the act and is totally blindsided, and starts to call the cops but stops him in his tracks. Esmé delivers a bombshell that leaves Nikolas nearly in shock, and it’s a total game changer, likely ensuring both his silence and his help.
General Hospital Updates – Gloating Commences
The bombshell is a classic Esmé move, a classic victim act, and something worthy of gloating about. She is still furious inside with Ava and she’ll milk everything she can out of accusing her of pushing her, even though it was an accident. They were engaged in a struggle over a letter, which went over the edge of the parapet with Esmé and all other letters and belongings were burned in a barrel.
This bombshell is something very personal and very designed to affect Nikolas to the hilt, and she knows it will. The question is, is it something she tried before when she thought she was pregnant with Spencer Cassadine’s (Nicholas Chavez) child, or is it another fakeout?
