General Hospital (GH) spoilers leak Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) will question what he’s gotten himself into soon when Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) once again messes up.

Can we just take a minute to remember Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and how this kind of thing never happened?

He was perfect and maybe no one else will ever compare, but why can’t Dex wrap his head around what is really required of him in this business?

Regardless, when he ends up in a sticky spot, he’ll have to call on Michael for help. Normally, we’d see Michael then run to mommy for help, but Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) won’t be looped in this time around.

Maybe Michael has a knack for the business after all?

General Hospital Spoilers — Dex Heller’s Mistake Could Cost Them Everything

Rumor has it Dex is about to make a major misstep in the weeks ahead, and it could lead Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey) to fall upon his scent and tail it.

While many think Mason is going to grow suspicious that Dex is helping Sonny to trap him and Betty Rutherford (Ella Lentini), it’s more likely that Mason will learn of Dex’s alliance with Michael — and possibly even Carly Spencer (Laura Wright).

If Mason finds out Carly and Michael are pulling strings because they don’t think Sonny is competent enough to run his own business without making sloppy mistakes, it could give him serious leverage over the middleman —- Dex.

General Hospital Updates – Michael Corinthos Has Connections

Michael can’t risk his father finding out about his entanglement with Dex. While Sonny might be offended by Carly’s implication that he can’t handle his own business, he would likely see it as an act of kindness and concern on her part.

After that scene at the PCPD with tears in her eyes, followed by the crack in her voice as she told Josslyn ‘Joss’ Jacks (Eden McCoy) that Sonny is marrying Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), it’s clear Carly is still carrying a torch for the guy.

But Sonny would be inclined to ask questions about how Carly and Michael came to be in any position to proposition Dex to go against him, and the truth could come out in the wash at that point.

To avoid a cascade of questions from the mob boss, Michael may have to step up his own mob game — by ordering a hit on Mason. Will Dex be the man to pull it off?

Sonny Corinthos Is Stunned

Spontaneously, Sonny’s problem with Mason will be cleared up without him having to lift a finger. Ava Jerome (Maura West) and Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) are sure to be stunned, and Ava won’t be able to tell Austin why she’s so confident that Sonny didn’t do it.

Meanwhile, Michael may recognize his actions solved more than his own problem, and he might start to wonder if he’s better suited for the business than his father anymore, or at least better at strategy than Dex has been.
