General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) just won’t relent. He wants to see his son, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner), happy again, and he believes Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) is the person for the job. Curtis would strongly disagree right now, of course. He’s furious with Portia and feels she has betrayed him more than anyone ever has. There’s a good chance Marshall has a different perspective on this because he’s got his own secret brewing that he knows would rock Curtis’ world if he ever found out. Is Marshall’s desire to see Portia and Curtis mend fences merely because he wants to believe he won’t lose his son, too?

Marshall has the very best of intentions, or so Portia will say when she apologizes for his constant nudging of her in Curtis’ direction. Truth be told, Portia is trying hard to respect Curtis’ wishes and keep her distance from him while he tries to make sense of his feelings for her. However, it’s killing her to live a life apart from her new husband. She wishes he would just come home so they could work this out together. The fact that he won’t is evidence that Curtis isn’t sure he wants to work through this at all. Not only does Portia fear that as the worst, but Marshall does, too.
General Hospital Updates – Marshall Ashford’s Secret Is Every Bit As Big As Portia Robinson’s
One would think Marshall would just want to be there for his son right now and support him in whatever decision he makes, but any semblance of Curtis wanting to throw in the towel on his marriage is going to have Marshall bucking him. What gives? Why is Marshall so convinced that Portia is the remedy for Curtis’ broken heart when she’s the one who broke it? Does he know something more wicked is headed Curtis’ way — something that might leave him wanting to lean on Portia? Marshall isn’t Curtis’ biological father, and he and Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) have been hiding that truth from him for his entire life.
Curtis Ashford Won’t Forgive His Wife
Curtis isn’t going to be able to forgive Portia for what she’s done — lying to him all these years and pretending she was confident Marcus Taggert (Réal Andrews) was Trina Robinson’s (Tabyana Ali) father when she wasn’t sure it wasn’t Curtis. That’s going to leave Marshall feeling rather devastated since he’s hanging onto hope that if his son can forgive Portia, he will be able to forgive him, too.
