General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that it’s finally time to learn Liz Webber’s (Rebecca Herbst) story and discover how it ties into her past, present, and future. As viewers know, Liz checked herself into Shadybrook earlier this year after it was revealed that she was “sleepwalking” and while doing so, was basically haunting herself with memories of her husband, Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) who was murdered last year by Peter August (Wes Ramsey). Liz thought she was recovering, but as she is finding out, that is far from the truth.

And whatever the truth is, it has kept her estranged from her immediate family her entire adult life. And it’s finally time for the truth to be revealed.

Although she didn’t have a lot of screen time during the summer, Liz is back at General Hospital now just in time for Rebecca Herbst’s 25th anniversary portraying Liz. The stars have aligned and it seems as if it is finally time for Liz’s past to be revealed. Whatever happened all those years ago has kept Liz from living her best life so it seems as if it’s finally time for her to let go of her past and move forward, whatever the future may be. This will also have a huge impact on the future of Liz’s romantic future as well.

Ever since the death of her husband last year, Liz has been slowly getting closer to Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton). But something about Franco’s death is reminiscent of a hidden trauma that Liz has experienced.
