General Hospital (GH) Spoilers: Guilt Eats Away At Nina As She Learns Willow Has Cancer

General Hospital (GH) Spoilers reveal Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) is about to learn the real reason behind Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) collapse during their stressful argument last month, and she’ll struggle to forgive herself for contributing to it. Furthermore, Nina is going to start putting two and two together about Willow’s secrecy when lurking in the halls at GH with Dr. T.J. Ashford (Tajh Bellow) — and just how wrong she was for insinuating they were having an affair. The more that Nina processes everything that has happened through a new lens, armed with the knowledge of what Willow is really going through, the more she’s going to blame herself for interpreting everything in the worst way she possibly could have.

General Hospital Spoilers — Nina Reeves Gets Confrontational With Michael Corinthos

Finding out Willow is undergoing chemotherapy rocked Nina’s emotions. When she has time to process this, and perhaps if Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) brings it to her attention, she may find it peculiar how defensive she became in Willow’s favor. Nina quickly turned on Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and expected that he was the reason she delayed treatment or couldn’t get the help she needed quickly enough.

General Hospital Updates – Nina Reeves And Willow Tait Were Never Close

When Willow first came to Port Charles, she was one of Charlotte Cassadine’s (Amelie McLain) teachers, and Nina was still married to Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) at that time.

The two of them butted heads from the very start, with Nina not agreeing with how WIllow treated Charlotte, and Willow not agreeing with how Charlotte was parented. Since then, they’ve had their ups and downs but Nina’s secrecy about Sonny’s time away in Nixon Falls, combined with her desire to teach Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver) that Nelle Benson Jerome (Chloe Lanier) was his “real” mother was enough to put the kibosh on a familial relationship. What is driving Nina’s urge to protect Willow and help her at all costs after all of the disputes and discord they’ve had? Who’s going to point out to Nina first that her behavior isn’t really in line with the relationship she and Willow have had with one another from the start?

Nina Reeve’s Maternal Instincts Go Into Overdrive

Nina doesn’t know it yet but the urge she’s feeling to protect Willow is coming from a place much closer to her heart than merely feeling empathy for the mother of her grandson. She might chalk it up to grieving for Michael, but she’s not very happy with him either. Meanwhile, Sonny wants all the family infighting to stop now for Willow’s sake. Can Nina make that happen once she discovers it’s her maternal instincts for her daughter that is paving the path to forgiveness between her and Willow? Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers just ahead.

  • GOD I hope for Willow's Sake that the fighting, blaming STOPS !! Yes for once Nina has every right to be ANGRY, but this isn't the time !! I just hope what I read somewhere that Willow Dies after delivering her baby!! I doubt this is true, but if it is I'll be SO MAD AT THE WRITERS !! Seeing Britt die was bad enough, so hopefully we don't lose Willow!! As usual the writer's will drag this storyline out, there are so many stories that will come out over this so Stay Tune...What I really would like to see is 1) Carly get's what's coming to her, 2) Willow goes into remission, and has a healthy baby girl 3) and the millions of storylines that develop from this are not DRAGGED on!!
