General Hospital (GH) Spoilers: Finn Realizes He Should Have Let Liz Finish Peter Off

General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates tease that Dr. Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) will be reminded of his past actions when Peter August (Wes Ramsey) is readied for release to the Pentonville Prison infirmary in an upcoming episode of General Hospital!

General Hospital Spoilers – Why Didn’t He Let Elizabeth Baldwin Finish Him Off?

General Hospital viewers will remember that after Peter was brought to General Hospital after being poisoned, Finn caught Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) in his room with a scalpel, ready to cut his life support lines! As Finn contemplates the problems that Peter has caused over the past year or so, he wonders why he didn’t just let Elizabeth finish him off; and realizes it’s for the same reason she protected him. It wasn’t about Peter’s life, it was about Elizabeth’s just as when Finn threw Peter down the stairs she protected him by keeping his secret and hiding his body in a morgue freezer in the sub-basement of GH. If it had only been a body – sometimes that darned Hippocratic oath is such a bother when one has a patient like Peter August, and yet when his conscience got to him, Peter wasn’t in the freezer! Now, against all odds, Peter came out of his coma caused by a yet undetermined method, although poison was highly suspected – there he just woke up with not even a hint of brain damage!

General Hospital Updates – What If Peter August Escapes Again?

General Hospital viewers can understand why Finn worries about if Peter could escape again; after all, Finn’s brother Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) nearly died because of Peter, and Finn isn’t the only one who’s worried. Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) saw Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) come to see Peter, and there is no trust of Victor by Britt – she knows he’s not to be trusted, and she was unable to listen to their conversations. Victor was rushed out of Peter’s room but for all Britt knows he is still working with Peter and she warns Finn to keep an eye out as well as for anyone else who shouldn’t be there. Peter may be under guard but Britt knows from experience that the guards could be in Victor’s pocket, and there need to be all hands on deck when his transport from General Hospital begins! Finn agrees – he knows also from experience just exactly how slippery Peter can be and doesn’t rule any eventuality out!

General Hospital Spoilers – He’s Darned If He Does, He’s Darned If He Doesn’t

General Hospital viewers can imagine that Finn has some pretty ambivalent feelings where Peter is concerned; it’s like Finn is darned if he does, he’s darned if he doesn’t, has he saved the life of someone who doesn’t deserve to live? It’s an oxymoron at best – good men die and Chase almost did, and he certainly didn’t live and heal by anything Peter did, and yet Peter the monster comes out of a coma largely on his own!

General Hospital viewers will recall that all Finn did was get him stabilized and keep him hydrated and make sure he had bodily functions – the blood tests hadn’t even come back yet! Peter revived before any brain function tests could even be done, and for the life of him, Finn cannot understand why-why isn’t Peter in a coma from which he may never emerge instead of Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan)?
