General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal many sinister schemes have been traced back to Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) in Port Charles, and it seems his legacy lives on even after his death. Esme Prince’s (Avery Kristen Pohl) arrival in town is the latest example. Although she pretended to be nothing more than Spencer Cassadine’s (Nicholas Chavez) girlfriend, it quickly became clear that Esme’s true intentions were far more nefarious. Now, she’s allegedly suffering from amnesia that has conveniently wiped her memory of any trace of her past — including every dirty deed she did to everyone else. Now, she’s parading around like a victim and is about to hit paydirt when she learns her daddy dearest, Ryan, has left her millions.

Esme’s journey from a dangerous con artist to a loving and responsible new mother is a true testament to the power of change. Her amnesia may have erased her memory, but it also afforded her a fresh start. Even Spencer, who held a personal vendetta against her, has witnessed the transformation firsthand. As Esme’s maternal instincts kicked in, and she stepped up to the challenge of caring for baby Ace Cassadine (Jay and Joey Clay), Spencer couldn’t deny that the connection she shares with her son is the same one he wished he had been able to have with his own mother. Laura Collins (Genie Francis) has been a constant support for Esme and the baby, but will that change alongside Esme’s personality when she comes into Ryan’s blood money? Will Esme even tell anyone she’s hit the jackpot, or is she going to sit on this as she figures out her next step?
General Hospital Updates – Esme Prince Might Not Stick Around
Esme never expected Ryan to have a fortune, much less leave it to her. Assuming the rumors are true, Esme would finally have the financial freedom to stand on her own two feet, and perhaps, break away from the Cassadine family’s financial hold. Does this mean she would abandon the ship and leave Laura in the dust? Spencer already promised that wherever she goes, he’ll be setting up his home across the street. So she probably won’t get far.
Ryan Chamberlain’s Legacy Lives On
Esme will have the means to do far more damage than anyone expected when she comes into a boatload of cash Ryan left in his wake. As the pieces start to fall into place, the true extent of Ryan’s manipulations could start to come to light. This might paint a chilling picture of just how far Ryan was willing to go to get what he wanted — even in death. Is Esme going to carry on his legacy postmortem, honoring the man she pretends to have hated? Is she really traumatized, or will she come to embrace him via the letters and other effects left to her?
