General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Sasha Gilmore’s (Sofia Mattsson) drug habit could end up costing her and those around her big time, in other words no one wins with her self-medicating her pain away.
Deception has an IPO launch on the horizon and she is the Face of Deception (how apt) after all. No one has a bad word to say about Sasha. She came to town as part of an identity switch swindle but atoned for her mistake. She’s just lost her first baby soon after birth and it was a heartbreaking experience. She tried to ignore her pain, then turned to drugs to numb it. Ironically, everyone thinks she is doing great, they have no idea, other than her drug dealer, what it really going on.

Not even Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor), her now husband, has a bead on her illicit behavior. He was thrilled to marry the girl of his dreams during a spur of the moment Niagara Falls getaway. When Sasha suggested they get married, he wisely suggested they wait to do things right. Nope, hopped up on drugs, Sasha insisted and he couldn’t resist her enthusiasm.
Plus the whole, erm, shebang was oddly reminiscent of their one night stand in his garage, the one that led to their son Liam. After their car broke down they found themselves stranded in the garage overnight and lo and behold the mechanic performs marriages on the side. Luckily he offered them a room in his house so they skipped reliving the whole backseat of the car part.
GH spoilers: What Happens Next in Port Charles, New York?
Weirdly, it is Brando’s mom Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) who understands the marriage is based on a whim—if only the suddenly wise one would figure out Sasha’s back on drugs.
Sasha’s habit is bound to collide with the huge IPO launch, what with Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) sooo excited about the company. Sasha likely will handle the pressure of being the figurehead of the company by getting in deeper with her dealer which is never a good idea.
General Hospital spoilers: Will Sasha Blow It?
As the Face of Deception, Sasha will be called on to make appearances and maybe a speech. That would make anyone nervous and we can see Sasha using drugs as a way to handle the stress. The only problem is she could blow it, ruining Deception, with half the town watching.
