General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary) may have gotten word that his life was in danger and pulled the old switcheroo on Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy); General Hospital viewers may see in the end that Luke is alive, and there was a Fake Luke on that cable car as well as in the urn that Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) received!
General Hospital Spoilers – Fake Luke
General Hospital viewers would not be at all surprised if Luke had put a fake Luke on that cable car – probably not a living person of course; it could have either been a corpse or a mannequin. Luke’s run in and out of trouble all his life and doesn’t need any more trouble over his own faked death to catch up with him! Tracy obviously doesn’t know about this because she was devastated when she brought the sad news home to Port Charles and set up his memorial service onboard The Haunted Star. Luke wouldn’t have wanted Tracy or any of his family members to know about this for their own protection! But the questions viewers would have about such a scheme would be how Luke could have pulled this off, and what exactly did authorities find as remains to identify and send to Tracy?
Longtime General Hospital viewers know that over the years, Luke’s middle name perhaps should have been “bizarre” instead of “Lorenzo” because he has pulled off some pretty bizarre stunts over the years. Granted, most of them have been when he has been in desperate situations, but the most bizarre ones have probably been done when his alter, popularly referred to as “Fluke” has been in charge! This could have been going on for many years, culminating in Luke’s traumatic memories coming back and the mysteries surrounding them having been solved when his sister Patricia Spencer (Dee Wallace) came to town, unfortunately dying shortly later. Pat was able to fill in many blanks for not only Luke, but Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zeman) and their grown children, but Luke’s short stint in Shadybrook shortly afterward may not have solved his dissociative identity disorder problem and his “Fluke” runs by a long way!
General Hospital Updates – Luke’s Schemes
General Hospital viewers have heard Tracy talking about Luke’s crazy investment schemes and many trips by himself for months at a time in the past, all indicating that his alternate “Fluke” personality didn’t just die! But this time, it was likely sane Luke faking his death but perhaps doing very Fluke-like things to get it accomplished!
Here’s one way Luke could have faked both the death and the remains – he could have snuck back into Port Charles disguised and unearthed lookalike cousin Bill Eckert’s (Anthony Geary) skeleton again – or what was left. Viewers will recall it was in pretty good shape when Fluke had it down in the basement of the Spencer house. Ala “Weekend at Bernie’s” Luke could have accompanied a fully dressed Bill Eckert with a ski mask, gloves, and maybe a rubber mask to his seat on the cable car, and since authorities told Tracy there wasn’t much left of him, what they found might have been poor old Bill!
