General Hospital (GH) Spoilers: Chase’s Confrontation, Brook Lynn’s Gone Too Far
General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates tease that Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) will confront Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) over their plot to expose Linc Brown (Dan Buran). The plan started off on the right foot and part one was successful, but when it comes to part two, Chase will accuse her of going too far.
General Hospital Spoilers – He’s Supposed To Catch Himself
Chase and Brook Lynn’s plan, which involved Chase pretending to let Brown manage him as a singer, was supposed to result in Brown trapping himself. Chase was supposed to go in like he was on an undercover mission and knowing Brown is unethical, they figured he didn’t need any help crossing the lines of legality. Chase and Brook Lynn hope to get Brook Lynn’s music back through this undercover mission but they have to be very careful; they cannot do the trapping.
Any hint of entrapment can throw their whole case out of court, even if it is a civil case involving contracts so far. But if Brown crosses the line into criminal acts, entrapment could sink the whole case down the drain.
General Hospital Updates – Brook Lynn Quartermaine, Super Spy?
Brook Lynn apparently fancies herself a super spy and thinks she can plant cameras and recorders to catch Brown in the act – of something. Anything, actually since she figures he’ll do something illegal that he can be prosecuted for. Brook Lynn should realize that even proving a speed trap can get a speeder out of a speeding ticket, it’s because said trap is laid. In certain cases, such as the narcotics squad catching drug deals on video, there has to be a warrant to be able to plant recording devices. But Brook Lynn messes up when she doesn’t realize a warrant or an implied one is needed when she tries to use her phone to record Chase and Linc’s encounter.
You Tanked The Case
Chase and Linc set up a meeting to go over contracts and such and Chase has specific questions that he wants to be answered. Chase’s plan is to look for questionable things in the contracts before he signs them and wants his attorney to look over them before he signs. Of course, Linc is hesitant to allow him to get an attorney involved, he says most attorneys don’t understand music contracts and try to rush Chase into signing.
Chase isn’t aware that Brook Lynn has tagged along to the meeting, let alone that she’s filming it on her phone and she’ll wind up tanking the case. Even worse, she can’t control herself from rushing in and bragging that she caught Linc red-handed on the phone and he’s going down; Chase shouts she’s gone too far!
