General Hospital (GH) Spoilers: Austin Demands Answers, He Didn’t Kill Gordon Stevens!
General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates tease Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) will demand answers after being questioned about the death of Gordon Stevens (Maurice Hall). Thanks to his evil cousin Mason Gatlin, (Nathanyael Grey), Austin is the one who could be in the hot seat after being seen in an argument with the dead man.
General Hospital Spoilers – Interrogated At Work
Austin had no idea Stevens was shot behind GH until Detective Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) started interrogating him about Stevens at work-he seemed to be suspicious. Then he showed him a photo of Dex Heller, (Evan Hofer) who he didn’t admit recognizing, and told Chase he’d seen Stevens at the Port Charles Grill. He’d hunted him down to complain about a bill when he was having dinner with Ava Jerome, (Maura West) Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros).
Chase said everyone at the hospital that night was being questioned, but he didn’t leave Austin with the impression that he wasn’t a person of interest. Austin is definitely going to have some words with his cousin Mason!
General Hospital Updates – Paid Him To Leave Town-Yeah, Right!
Mason told Austin he’d taken care of Stevens, he’d paid him to leave town-now Austin knows he “paid him to leave town” permanently, and he’s one of several persons of interest. That’s not the way to treat family, and Austin is getting fed up with covering for Mason and the “family”-especially when he’s left in the position of being the fall guy! Of course, in the back of Austin’s mind is the look on Chase’s face when he mentioned Sonny-Sonny was probably Chase’s next stop. What’s even worse is even Ava Jerome (Maura West) thinks Austin killed Stevens, and that’s one thing Mason’s going to have to pay for! Mason is not going to mess things up between Austin and Ava just as they’re beginning their romantic relationship!
No Fall Guy Here, Final Warning
Austin is just plain tired of Mason messing up his life and that’s why he moved from Pautawk to Port Charles, other than trying to be accepted as a Quartermaine. But like his father Jimmy Lee Holt (Steve Bond) the Quartermaine family never accepted him, so finally he gave up on that but still stayed at GH. Austin was adjusting and enjoying an easy relationship with Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) until her daughter wouldn’t accept him and he moved on –and Mason showed up!
Mason was much more of an obstacle to overcome than Georgie Spinelli (Eden Harker) and he was endangering her. So Austin chose to end the relationship with Maxie to protect Georgie, and now he’s really tempted to end Mason!
