General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates tease that Bryan Craig, who portrayed the role of Morgan Corinthos on the soap, shared the premiere date of his inspiring indie film titled, Women Is Losers.

Women Is Losers Premiere Date Revealed

The actor took to Instagram to share the news that the movie will air on HBO Max exclusively starting October 18. “So proud of our film and what it stands for,” the actor said. He’s excited that people will finally get to watch the film that’s set in the 1960s.

A Dream Come True for Craig

Craig shared on Instagram at the time that he was the first cast in the film that he believes people will love the movie. It was a dream come true for the actor after he learned that the film will make its world premiere at the SXSW festival in Austin. He’s always wanted to star in a movie that will be played at the festival and he finally got the chance to do so. He’s thankful for the opportunity to work with the people in front and behind the camera.

Inspirational Story

The coming-of-age drama follows the story of a young Catholic school girl named Celina. The young girl’s life changes significantly when she gets pregnant by her Vietnam veteran boyfriend, Mateo. Celina is determined not to allow poverty to stop her from making the best of her life and providing her family with what they need. Her brazen decisions play a crucial role in the plot of the film as viewers will get to see it once they watch the movie.

Craig takes on the role of Mateo while Lorena Izzo portrays Celina. Other cast members include Steven Bauer, Liza Weil, Cranston Johnson, Alessandra Torresani, Shalim Ortiz, and Lincoln Bonilla. Women Is Losers was launched at the South By Southwest Film Festival back in March. His film was given great reviews and it became one of the most-watched films at the festival.

Film’s Exec Team Lauds Craig’s Performance

The movie’s executive team praised Craig for a job well done. They said he portrayed his alter ego extremely well. They described the character as “a flawed young father unlearning preconceived notions of masculinity… we hope [it] serves as a catalyst for a conversation around engaged fatherhood and team playing partners.”
