General Hospital Fans Want Cameron Mathison to Host a New Show
The Drew Cain actor responded to a fan's suggestion for a new series after he posted some summer highlights.
General Hospital fans want much more of Cameron Mathison, who plays the role of Drew Cain in the ABC daytime soap. Well, he’s got a lot in his pipeline already, but if he needs a new income stream, his followers know exactly what they’d like to see. But is he interested in taking a different direction? Rumors About An Exit
Rumors circulate that Cameron Mathison might exit the show. Given his recent storyline of being shot and then returning from the brink of death, those rumors seemed logical. However, the villain remains on contract.
The current storyline sees Drew manipulating Willow while also trying to eliminate a rival. While fans don’t like his character in General Hospital, they certainly do love what he shares on social media.
A Roundup Of Summer Travel
Last week, Cameron took to Instagram and shared some footage of his various travels during the summer break. Mountains, rivers, canyons, rainbows, and more arrived in a big drop. In his caption, he only wrote, “Vol 2 CA LV AZ UT.”
The idea about another possible venture arrived when his follower, @the_real_queen_b5, floated an idea. They wrote, “I know u have worked with Extra, ET, GMA and everything Hallmark but has the Travel Channel been made aware how AWESOME u would do with a travel show?”
Then they suggested a title for a series: “Where In The World Is @cameronmathison??? I would totally watch that! 🔥❤️ just throwing that little gem into the universe.”
Might He Do It?
Did Cameron Mathison like the idea? Well, yes, he didn’t deny he enjoyed the concept. In his response, he wrote, “I would love that!”
And the General Hospital star isn’t alone in that opinion. Many people joined in the conversation. Another commenter wrote, “I think he needs to travel to the Blue Zones where people live longer than anywhere else in the world! 🌎”
And another commenter said, “He would be such a great tour guide!”
Then followers started crafting an imaginary itinerary for the Drew Cain actor. Several of them agreed they would “definitely watch that.”
