General Hospital Comings & Goings Week of September 22: Major Return, Prodigal Son, Debut Looming
General Hospital (GH) spoilers imply some massive bombshells in Port Charles during the week of September 22, as well as a flurry of casting news! Find out who’s ‘coming’ and who’s ‘going’ from the ABC soap over the next five days (and beyond), below.
Welcome Back, Ryan Paevey!
General Hospital spoilers note that Ryan Paevey made his splashing return to canvas during the Friday, September 19 episode.
There was a car crash that Lulu Spencer (Alex Havins Bruening) reported, and at the end of the show, fans saw a man get wheeled into the hospital that looked a lot like Nathan West, who was shot and killed in 2018.
With Britt Westbourne’s (Kelly Thieabaud) recent return from the dead, this has many in the little town wondering if the man is the beloved cop. Only time will tell.
James West Makes An Appearance
Speaking of Nathan, his son, James West, played by Gary James Fuller, will be back on the show during the week of September 22-26. Maxie Jones’s (Kirsten Storms) son will have his grandmother, Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) concerned during the Wednesday, September 24 show, so it sounds like the young lad will still be missing his mom. Who could blame the poor kid?
Character Debut Looming
With Monica Quartermaine’s (Leslie Charleson) passing this week, General Hospital fans can expect to see the debut of Erika Slezak, soap veteran who played Victoria Lord on One Life to Life (OLTL).
Slezak’s mysterious character is linked to Monica’s goodbye storyline, so it sounds like the actress will be seen on the ABC soap, very soon.
Additional Casting Notes
Speaking of Monica’s passing, Rena Sofer, who plays Lois Cerullo, will resurface at some point during the week of September 22.
Cerullo will be back to pay her final respects to the Quartermaine matriarch, and Monica’s memorial is set to take place on Thursday, September 25 and Friday, September 26.
Lastly, the brothers from different mothers, Danny Morgan, played by Asher Antonyzyn, and Rocco Falconeri, played by Finn Carr, will be on the canvas this week, as well.
