General Hospital (GH) spoilers indicate the week of March 31-April 4 will be a flurry of activity in the land of Port Charles. Check out some casting changes that will take place over the next five days below.
62nd Anniversary Milestone
The soap is slated to celebrate 62 years on the air with a special episode taking place on Tuesday, April 1. The center of the show will spotlight the opening of the Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) Cardiac Care Center, honoring the impact the doctor has made on the hospital and in the little town.
Among the characters participating in the episode are three that fans don’t see often: Co-Chief of Staff, Terry Randolph (Cassandra James), nurse Amy Driscoll (Risa Dorken), and sweet little Donna Corinthos (Scarlett Spears).
Soliksi Revealed
As per the General Hospital Friday, March 24 episode, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) located Soliski, the man who bombed the mob boss’s penthouse.
The two have him right where they want him, but will he slip through their fingers?
The new villain is played by the award-winning director and stunt actor Jeff Wolfe.
Later, Valentin Cassadine
Speaking of villains, Valentin Cassadine was sent to a maximum-security prison in Geneva during the Monday, March 24 show, ending James Patrick Stuart’s nine-year stint on the soap.
Unfortunately, he bit off more than he could chew being on the run; however, the good news is that it looks like Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) can finally settle down and enjoy the rest of her teen years at “home” in Port Charles with her mom, Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening). Will Valentin ever return? Anything is possible, but for now, the character and actor are officially off the show.

Lastly, Days of Our Lives is losing a writer, and General Hospital is gaining one! Ryan Quan has left the Peacock soap, heading to the land of Port Charles as a breakdown writer.
