General Hospital comings and goings say that there’s a lot of online speculation about whether or not Michelle Stafford would be willing to come back to her Port Charles roots to reprise her role as Nina Reeves.

Is Michelle Stafford Returning To Port Charles?

While actress Cynthia Waitros is doing a great job with the character right now, a lot of people have pointed out that Michelle’s version of Nina just had a little more spunk to her and that’s something they certainly miss seeing on the canvas.

Clearly, many GH fans had a lot to say about the matter on social media. Some even commented with, “This is not to put any hate on Cynthia. I think she is talented and has made Nina her own. But I doooooooo miss Michelle Stafford’s Nina.

I just am imagining how incredible it would have been for her and Laura wright to face off during the Sonny memory loss storyline, and her and Maurice.”

Another critic of the show wrote, “Or her and Laura when she found out Carly had been lying about Willow being her daughter. Her and Cameron Mathesion would have been hot and she would have been an incredible supporting girl gone wild Willow.”

“And truthfully; I didn’t feel the connection between Cynthia and Ryan when she was in scenes with who she thought was Jay (Nathan).”

Who Should Play Nina Reeves?

And then there was this comment as well: “I agree. I loved Michelle’s Nina. Her and Valentin were on fire! I don’t like the current way they are writing Nina. So that impacts how I like the current actress.”

“Quite frankly I think Nina is whiny as hell. I can’t stand her. And are they going to keep writing to Nina so that she sleeps with every man Carly does?”

Now, whether or not Michelle Stafford is willing to make the jump from Genoa City back to Port Charles, no one knows, but when it comes to the world of daytime soaps, anything is possible, right?
